GM Genuine Parts 12684186 Engine Camshaft Position Sensor

This is an original and very high-quality product that works perfectly. I previously bought a Chinese knockoff that didn't work and was only $7 cheaper. I ended up wasting time and money getting it reinstalled by a technician. Never buy Chinese knockoffs! Buy only genuine parts like this one.

Sensor has worked out great and have had no problems with it.

Good comfortable piece and apparently good quality

Code reader read P0017. Cam and crank position sensor out of timing. Dealer said it is usually timing chain. $3,500. The car ran great (SRX 3.0V6) so I replaced all 4 camshaft sensors. 2,500 miles later no codes and less than $100 for the parts.

I replaced a bunch of sensors, including these ones to clear some codes and the codes stayed off until the truck died so it lasted over a year

Ordered 4. 2 out of the 4 are defected but couldn't return because it was a week past the return window. Which I had no control as the wait time for a mechanic was weeks out. Disappointing because I am out of the 2 cost wise and had to order more at a upcharge through the mechanic. Make sure you use before the 30 days to insure they aren't defective

Ordered two of these sensors for the SRX4 and it was able to calibrate successfully. Check engine light came off. Thank you!!
