It works for what I needed it for. I bought a small powered pencil sharpener, that I mistakenly thought was re-chargable. It can be powered via AA batteries, or USB, but it's not re-chargable. Unfortunately, the cord it came with was short. The connector on a similar cord was too large. There's one in here that is perfect. I wouldn't have minded if the cord was six feet--just a little longer--but, it's working. So I'm thrilled. A good purchase experience here. Thank you.

As with most corded you may want to be careful with actual cord. Otherwise that is not unique to any portable cables. It does have adapter for old and new electronics. Would not recommend charging in pocket or flexible item. External charge ie to computer etc on desk or table likely no issue. Good for what I needed, but a little experience I could tell I wouldn't carry in flexible item. It has not but likely would come apart at the base. Again any.
