This phone holder exceeded my expectation!! Very sturdy!! I had one prior to this and it was so floppy and flimsy, but this one stays in place and does not fall down when you take your phone out. It has an awesome button in the back to adjust to a different size, and this button also is pretty awesome to release the phone when you want to take it out. It has 2 different options, to either mount to the dash board or vent. Recommend this product!

OMG! This is the bomb. Totally awesome and easy to use. I read all the info on it before I bought it and so when it came in I knew exactly how to put it together and what not to do, so it only took me 30 seconds and was good to go. Love it! The exact same one was in a truck stop for $45.00, and it was NOT the 2-in-1. It was the vent only. So this is a steal. I love the little button in the back. Very smart product.

This product has been very disappointing. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6, and I mounted this on the dashboard of my Toyota Corolla. However, this unit is tall, and the angle of my windshield makes it impossible to put the phone in the holder unless the holder is mounted very far forward on the dash. I finally found a spot to mount it, but after a few days the suction cup failed and the mount fell off. It also left a mark on my dashboard. I cleaned the suction cup, let it dry, and tried again. It fell off again after a couple of days.Then I tried the vent mount option. Unfortunately the arms of the phone holder do not grip the phone securely, and when using the vent mount, the phone was angled slightly downward and tended to fall out of the holder during normal stop and go driving. This was very frustrating.The arms that hold the phone have a kind of spring-loaded action. The idea is that you put your phone in the cradle and then squeeze the arms together until they are gripping the phone securely. You can release the phone by pressing a button on the back. This mechanism caused me a lot of frustration. Whenever I pressed one side in, the other side would pop out. Even when I pressed both sides in at the same time, they would often get stuck in the wrong position and would require a lot of fiddling. I began to dread the ordeal of getting my phone seated in the holder at the beginning of each drive. After a few weeks, something broke inside the arm mechanism, and I could not get them into position at all. The release button on the back stopped working as well.The last straw for me came when one of the rubber pads on the insides of the arms fell off. Without them, the holder cannot grip the phone. Three months after buying it, despite really trying to make it work, I had to throw this holder in the garbage.

I purchased this for my patrol car, so it was a definitely something i issued on the daily. Note: this product is all plastic with a metal spring under the suction cupInstallation: very easy and i liked the vent or windshield option.Suction Option: the suction cup is sticky, so i do not know if this was the reason i would find my holder "un-suctioned" from my windshield every time i came into work (night-shift). It stayed in place (strong) during my shift, however i do not know if it's the heat from the day that would lead to it being strewn on my dash when i returned to work. My personal car suction car mount (different brand) has NEVER done this, it has always stayed in place.Recently, after a few months of use, i noticed that the clip to secure the suction cup was loose. When i lifted the suction cup, i noticed that spring was partially disconnected. The plastic piece connecting the base to the "shaft" portion had broken. That was the end of the windshield option.Vent Option: as of a few days ago, i've been using this option. So far i have absolutely no complaints... however, i am not holding my breath. It's plastic construct has me very skeptical as to it's lifetime... i am hopeful it will last me another couple months.

Having an iphone 8 plus I was very worried about it not fitting even though the description said it would, I have bought about 6 different brands of phone mounts over the past couple of years and have been so disappointed whether they broke easily, looked awkward, did not hold up, etc. until I received this one. Works and fits PERFECTLY. I'm so happy that it has the quick release button which makes it SO easy to take off and put back on. I immediately bought another to give as a gift.

I originally gave this 3 stars cause the headphones jack on my LG Fortune 2 is all but blocked when it's in place, it's right next to the micro USB charge. They leave plenty of space for the charger. I'm sure this is a problem with all of them though depending on the model phone you use. Customer service is so awesome with this company, they reached out to me after my review and offered to send me another one completely free of charge or refund me and said I don't have to send this one back. Excellent customer service! I checked with another phone and the headphone jack isn't blocked at all. if your headphone jack is on the bottom of your phone and you plan on using it while it's in n the holder be warned it may be a little snug or may not be able to fit at all. For under $10 you can't beat this

This holder works fairly well but I was unable to place it on my windshield due to state (VA) laws. Attaching it to the slightly textured plastic of my dash has been OK but, even with the suction cup seal, has fallen off twice in warm weather.The cradle holds my phone very well but I wish that it had just a bit more pivot angle; mounting it on a vertical surface can be challenging and requires mounting the curved pedestal just right for best visibility.

I mounted the unit to my car dashboard I realized it was in the wrong location. I tried to move it to a different location and I couldn't re-attach it. It just wouldn't hold in a different location. So I'm stuck with using the unit that attaches to the vent, which I already had two other units like this, I drive for Uber so having a unit that would attach to the dashboard was important. I very disappointed. The unit was reasonable but it didn't do the job. I let the seller know about this but I didn't receive a response.
