Good for bike.

the speed sensor does not pick up the magnet's pass reliably. i have it as close as safe but at an amgle to the sensor because of frame-spoke distance. the rest is very nice: readable, temp, time and speed in one screen, etc. easy to install

Was looking for one that could also read temperatures as I ride my bike. Also one that had metric & "English" measures. A smart phone app can do most of the features of this device, but you'll have to switch pages. I use this "bike PC" along with a smallish tablet. That last one is just for the map GPS (& of course, ph. calls). While the Lixada does the bike road trip monitoring functions. Excellent value & functionality.

I kept reading that people couldnt get thiers to work so I was apprehensive. I watched a review on youtube and the guy explained perfectly how to set it up and be satisfied with it. It took me an hour including watching 2 videos. googled my tire circumfrence. works great. Great value.

After being pleased with another Lixada computer (one with a cadence feature) I had on another bike, I decided I wanted a simpler, cheaper one for my second bike. That was a mistake. I had nothing but problems with this one. It was hard to get to sync with the wheel sensor, and once it did connect, it would frequently miss registering the magnet while riding, resulting in faulty speed readings, which in turn threw off the odometer. This is a problem others have mentioned in their reviews. I should have heeded their warnings. I went and got another Lixada computer like my first one and have had no issues with it at all. And it was only slightly more expensive (no more than 5 or 10 dollars). My advice is look for the Lixada computer that counts cadence and has the dual sensor that mounts down near your pedals on the back wheel.

I purchased this item primarily because it includes a temperature on the display. The temp is rarely accurate. It seems to read 5-10 degrees F high. Also, I occasionally see the speed display drop dramatically for a revolution or 2. I suspect this is due to a missed sensor scan. This has not affected my overall distances so far. I made the wheel setting match a gps distance I tracked on my phone app and that seems to be holding. I'm still getting used to the mode controls. They seem unnecessarily complicated.

during install and tightening of magnet, male housing have cross thread and cannot be tightened to hold along spoke. (see pictures) assembly performance to say the least is poor.
