The media could not be loaded. I'm someone who used to manufacture garden furniture (benches, bridges etc.) from good quality wood so I can appreciate the timber used in this seat. It is slow grown and has taken the pressure treatment very well.As an added bonus the wood used for this seat is FSC certified so I know I have bought from a managed forestry area and that's important to me - a bit like buying ethically caught tuna or free range eggs.If I had to speculate as to the strength rating I'd say it was probably C24 which is the same as good quality pine decking and there certainly will be no problems with knots dropping out or excessive sap sweating out from this table as it is not made from 'white wood' (e.g.Scots Pine).Instructions are very clear but while reading reviews I have noticed several reviewers mention that some holes were 'drilled in the wrong place'. I didn't experience this problem and the total build time was around 2 hours from start to finish (by myself) although I needed my son to help lift the completed seat into position due to the heavy weight.For anyone choosing to buy this table I'd advise you to carefully study the instructions as parts C,D,E and F are VERY similar - this could be where people are going wrong when deciding that holes have been drilled in the 'wrong place'.If you get the first stage wrong (C&D, E&F) then the holes will not line up at all and it will be a frustrating build - the individual parts for these tables are made to a simple formula so unless there are parts which are duplicated or missing then it should be an easy build for anyone with basic DIY skills.The seat arrives in parts as you can see in the pictures associated with this review but there are only just enough bolts, nuts, washers and screws - NO SPARES...not even one spare screw!Considering the cost of this table I think the manufacturer could put a few spare parts into the bag so that there was no chance of the table builder running short as that would be an unnecessary and avoidable frustration.If you have a socket end (13mm?) for your battery drill (as shown in a picture attached to this review) the build will be much faster than using the supplied manual socket fitting (shown in video on this review) although I had to get the final tighten on a few of the nuts using the supplied tool as my drill fitting was a bit too shallow.Good timber, well constructed parts, satisfying build and a quality table at the end of the process - 5 stars all round and I see that the same manufacturer does a 'Walk in picnic table' which would be great for the other end of my new patio so that may be a purchase in the very near future......

Arrived promptly, well made and easy to assembly. Good value for money

My son in law put it together on his own, it's solid as a rock. Worth every penny. Used every day.so now I've had it a few months with minimal use the wood is flaking

It’s £150 cheaper direct from their website. Unfortunately I found that out after the fact. Table is below par for price. The drill holes look like they were done by a three year old and 70% were not all the way through which is not what you expect at this price point. Instructions were semi clear but would have benefited from stickers donating the letter of each piece. Finally when assembled. Since it appears the table has been stored outside in a yard, there is water marks/dirt stains all over the top where the wood has been lying on top. Finally where the seats connect to their legs has not been connected fully and wobbles when legs are attached. Overall disappointingWhen shelling out over £500 for a seat. Lesson learned. Hope others thing twice by reading this.

VERY PLEASED WITH QUALITY OF THIS BENCH. EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH QUICK DELIVERY. WAS NOT PLEASED TO FIND SOME HOLES DID NOT LINE UP AND NEEDED TO BE REDRILLED. ON SEATS IN TWO INSTANCES IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIT WASHER ON TO BOLT BECAUSE BOLT CAME THROUGH HOLE RIGHT AT TOP. HAD TO CALL ON CARPENTER FRIEND TO SORT IT OUT WHICH TOOK SOME TIME AND VARIOUS DRILL BITS.INSTRUCTION DETAILS NEED TO BE CLEARER. LUCKILY MY FRIEND HAD PUT ONE TOGETHER AT HIS PLACE OF WORK SO HAD GOOD IDEA HOW TO CONSTRUCT IT.BIT MORE ATTENTION TO DETAIL WOULD BE GOOD BUT AM HAPPY WITH END RESULT SO FAR.

Really happy with the table. Feels good quality and very heavy. Would agree that the instructions are a little basic but it all went together fine, with no drilling. Probably the most expensive table on here but I'm hoping it will last and be worth the money.

I was looking for a good quality round picnic table and was originally going to purchase a cheaper one. The more I thought about it, the more I was drawn to a higher quality pressure treated table. After reading the reviews I decided to buy this one. It was delivered much sooner than the delivery estimate. After reading some of the other reviews, I took the time to study the instructions as it’s important to get everything the correct way around. It fitted together with no issues. One of the seats was slightly damaged on arrival, but this was sorted out by Andy in the customer service department and a replacement seat was sent out the next working day. I can highly recommend this seller.

We purchased this item as we wanted something that could left outside all year, its tantalised and solid family easy to put together but does require 2 people, purely out to weight and solid construction. If you want something that looks good and makes dining outside a breeze this is the item....
