Easy to install, and gives extra piece of mind if you live in an apartment that uses key code locks as it gives the extra layer of security. I installed the entire unit in under 5 minutes. It was very easy even though there were no instructions, they really were not needed as it's very straight forward and simple to install. I recommend using a drill bit to make a pilot hole for the long screws to ease into the door frame/door jamb.
