If you've ever played Carrom, you will know how important the powder is. I would compare it to the air on an air hockey table - the powder helps the coins glide across the board by reducing friction. This bottle of powder seems like a great texture and size to accomplish this - it is much better than the powder we've been using, so I'll be curious to see how it impacts our game. If your set has plastic coins, I'm not sure the powder has as much impact as it does when you use wooden coins, but you might want to try it. And, certainly, if you use wooden coins - you need to use powder. There is no odor and the cap has four holes that haven't been punched out yet - I really appreciate this as I'm not sure I need to open all four. This stuff comes out so quickly that opening only one or two holes worked for me. The powder is fine, but somewhat gritty - which is the ideal combination to help the coins slide. I tried to show this on the plate, but it really is a texture thing you need to feel. Anyway, I'm super happy with this powder and it is a decent price.
