I wanted a hat that I can fold and put in my suitcase for our trip to italy. I haven't packed it yet but did fold it the way the instructions show and I think it will do fine. It actually has a little weight to it and seems to be made well. The brim is not huge but does cover your face. If you want something that is more floppy and has a wider brim, this might not be for you. The top of the hat is kind off tall so you can put your hair up in it. In this picture I'm wearing a high ponytail with no problem. I have a small head so I appreciate that you can make the hat smaller by pulling a tab inside the band, It does have straps attached, but you can tuck those up inside the hat if you don't want to wear it like that. Overall I'm happy with this purchase & will get a lot of use out of this hat.

I have been looking for a hat that looks attractive, doesn’t flop, is sturdy and stylish. I finally found it. There is a way to make the inside smaller, tighter if you need to. It looks classic and simply wonderful! I recommend it 100%. Oh one mis thing You can have a ponytail and it still fits just fine on your head.

This hat is stylish and feels well made.It arrived packed nicely to prevent it from being bent or smashed during shipping.I was surprised based on the low price of the quality feel. It’s not flimsy like I expected and has a bit of a weight to it which I like and find very comfortable. It’s perfect for days on the boat or doing yard work for coverage from the hot summer sun, which is what I needed it for but it’s a good looking hat and could certainly be worn to something more dressed up.

This came VERY well packed. In looking at shipping or packing reviews, I see some received a crushed or misshapen hat. I suppose the company updated the way in which they pack hats. Mine came in a clear, firm, plastic mold that hat sits on. The plastic is exact replica of the hat itself, holding its form and shape precisely in its intended form. It’s brilliant. The box it came in is much larger than hat and hat WAS in a plastic bag but that “hat mold” keeps hat shaped, plus bubble wrap around the bagged hat helped it from sliding around. Perfect packaging concept. The hat is cute and got many compliments the first time I wore it and thereafter. Removable Strap helps in wind and to carry at your back if you were to take hat off and want to keep it with you. The Velcro, Adjustable size strap IS helpful and works well to make it a tad more snug/loose if need be. Let’s air flow for breathability and keeps you much cooler -I “felt” that immediately. It’s rim is not super wide but enough for ample coverage. It’s lightweight yet has a sturdy enough weight - it’s like a pliable straw material - but it’s actually what’s called “paper straw”. It’s NOT paper like at all though. As far as folding and rolling for travel and Reshaping it, I haven’t done so (and won’t in the future either) only because it “says” you can reshape, but with other hats that claim to reshape easily (not this brand), they never reshaped at all. I love it,

I love this hat. I get compliments every time I wear it which is often. I live in the mountains and am therefore closer to the sun. The coverage is very adequate. It is a very good value and stylish. I like that it has a chin strap for windy days.

Y'all, I have been on the hunt forever for a cute hat that fits my big head while offering adequate sun protection and surviving my suitcase. THIS IS IT! I have literally bought a dozen different hats over the past few years that didn't cut it, including a couple from that expensive Australian company, but this one does! The L/XL fits my 23-inch head very comfortably. No headaches from it being too tight. I packed it using the taco method, and it kept its shape perfectly. Plus it's very flattering and looks great with casual and dressy looks. When I don't need the chin strap, I just tuck it into the top of the hat. There's room for it without pressing into my head. I'm buying another color!

Cute hat, but I measured my head and followed the size guide. It was still too small. Satisfied with the return process.

Great brand of hats. They wear well, travel well, and add a classy look to any outfit. They're great beach and everyday hats for those of us who live in the sun. I highly recommend them.

I ordered a few different sun hats before landing on this one. The rest all came crushed and bent and flimsy and certain to unravel quickly. This one came in a custom box, with a firm plastic form inside to hold its shape. It fits nicely, not too tight, and actually looks cute. I really think it will hold up and I actually like the look of it. Pretty darn good for an Amazon purchase. I'm impressed.

Very good quality hat and fits well. I had to adjust the interior band a little smaller, but easy and fits beautifully. It came well packaged on a hat plastic form and includes instructions on the best way to pack it to avoid crushing. Very pleased with purchase, may order another one.

I would give the review 4.5 if I could. I bought two different styles of Furtalk hats and love both. Each look nice and seem well made for the price. However, even though I measured my head to make sure I ordered the correct size for both (mediums), while the other hat fits perfect, this one is too snug to wear in comfort. I will end up passing this one along to a friend/family member and possibly ordering another in the larger size.

Arrived quickly, nice packaging so so damage. I was really impressed by the quality. I have a medium to large sized head and it’s a tiny bit snug but not too tight. I would order from this company again because this is a high quality product and very stylish. Comes with kit for chin strap.
