A little difficult to get over the tote but once you figure it out it's not so hard. I like the black color because it absorbs sunlight and keeps your water warm but it blocks light out to keep algae from growing. In the winter time it absorbs the sunlight to keep your water from freezing. I am satisfied.

Purchased this for our water tote. The tote sits outside in the weather so we wanted to protect it. So far it has worked very well and has held up to the weather for a couple seasons now.

Alright, I will definitely come back to this one in the future. Texas sun will ultimately tell how long this particular cover will hold up. (My guesstimate is 2yrs, but let's wait and see.)Fabric has a nice reflective insulate coating I can see that repelling UV rays to prevent algae.The elastic to anchor to the bottom of the tank, I can see that being the very first thing to deteriorate. The clips are good. (I would prefer webbing straps there, but for a budget, this seems enough. There is a drawstring cord to cinch up the bottom edge and prevent wind lifting the cover. It's just a thin cord with a cord lock, it's sufficient. Velcro top access opening, seems fine. There's a flag decal that seems to be decently printed. I don't think that is what you want if you're camouflaging a resource to the surrounding greenery, but you may desire that on your gear. ***Stitching*** I am not convinced about the longevity of the stitching. "It'll do," I guess. There aren't reinforcement points sewn. Some minimal back stitches at the ends of the seams. So, maybe keep some repair sewing nylon around. It seems like another inner seam along the original stitching would be better. Decades of sewing experience, speaking. I'd like to give this 3.5 stars, but I'm going to go with 4, give it a chance, and report back after summer.Is it good? Yes, it is "basically" good.

I built a trailer for a water tote a couple years ago. If I leave water in it, it grows algae, so I'm hoping this helps with that. It easily fit over my tote.As you can see in the pictures, I have a couple vertical supports with hose hangers on the front. They attach to the tote by clamping using a J bolt pulling the tote's upper bar against a little piece of plate steel. I removed the J bolts and installed the cover easy enough. Then put the J bolts back on. I'm wondering if I'll have a problem with it tearing around the J bolt or where it rubs on the plate? This is off road use only, so highway wind speeds aren't a concern, but still I wonder if it tear there? Time will tell.The straps at the bottom ensures it won't blow off.Looks good so far.

At first I wondered why anyone would want to cover their IBC tote. Then I realized I certainly do. This tote will be set up on a platform and provide water to my green house. This way I can start plants in my green house before waiting for the irrigation water to be turned on.The day I went to cover it, it had already been covered with bird poop. Not only do I want to keep the poop off the tote, and I know this cover will have it on, the cover is somewhat water resistant so can be washed off easily. It will also help keep the water from turning green from mold by keeping it cooler and not exposed to sunlight.I like the top Velcro opening where I will fill the tote up with water. That way I don't have to undo the entire cover. The cover does have a zipper in front, and is very easy to put on and take off. A one person job. It comes with a cinch cord by the zipper, and buckles in back to secure the cover around the base of the tote. I love the green color, as it blends in with my environment and does not stand out like a sore thumb.So glad I found this and have my water kept clear all summer. A big concern I had until now.

So far this cover is working great! I’m actually thinking about using one to cover my lawn mower since it’s outside and sitting in the elements.It’s waterproof, the quality is good, it’s big and easy to put over the entire tank, and it’s also water proof. The color green is aesthetically very nice and I like the American flag on it as well. Overall working great
