Tried this wire nut twister on a few different gauged wire nuts and this just didn't work very well, any small ones didn't want to secure on and just fall out, this has just been my experiences. Easier to just twist on with your fingers, and for tight or upward spots like installing lights, this was just cumbersome to use and seemed bulky.

I'm a home DIYer, and I saw these wire nut twisters on YouTube videos and assumed they would be too expensive to be worth it for a DIYer. But I was completely wrong... this price was extremely reasonable -- multiples less than I would have guessed for such a niche tool. It's ABSOLUTELY worth it to have this and level up your electrical connections. I wish I'd bought one a decade ago and saved my fingers so much painful twisting.

I’m just a home handyman, not a professional electrician, so I don’t need this wire nut twister accessory to improve my efficiency. Rather, I personally have had problems getting a desirably-tight twists of the wire in wire nuts when installing the wire nuts by hand; I thought that this simple device might help me achieve tighter connections.To evaluate that possibility, I used this accessory to connect two 12 AWG solid copper wires together with a wire nut, rotating it with an impact-drill-driver:• I found out in fact that I personally could achieve a better twist using this accessory than twisting by hand. See the upper half of the attached photo: quite good twist of the conductors and good bite by the wire nut. The top half of the attached photo actually represents my *second* try, in which I spun the drill-driver only in short pulses to avoid applying too much rotation.• The bottom half of the attached photograph shows the results of my first try, in which I turned on the drill driver for a second or two, got too many rotations of the drill-driver, and therefore twisted the wire nut quite excessively. Therefore, if you buy this accessory, be careful how much you twist!Bottom line: I look forward to improving my electrical wiring connections using this accessory. I have no hesitation to rate it five stars at this point.

Works good, twists most standard sizes of wire nuts

Works fantastic for it's intended purpose. I use push in connectors for a lot of electrical connections, but this makes using wire nuts much easier and I can make sure that the connection is really good electrically AND physically.
