Leicke Protective Bag/Case/Pouch for Portable External USB Slim Blu-ray Drives (black)

I got this case for my new optical drive for my macbook pro. I knowingly purchased this simply to protect the drive from scratches and minor wear and tear, I do not expect it to prevent serious damage and neither should you. That being said, the material is slightly padded so it could protect from small drops. My only gripe with this case, is that it will not close totally. The draw string method does close the top but there's still an opening, the reason being is the cable attached to the mac drive prevents you from totally sealing it, in my mind a zip would've been ideal as this does not change the dimension of the case the same way a draw string would.In Short, a nice peace of mind for an external device for a good price (although shipping from Germany was the same cost as the bag), however do not think you will keep it 100% dust free inside this. I simply got it so I could carry it around in my laptop without scratching the hell out of it. If you place the drive with the cable facing the outside, you can be sure it will be very difficult for dust to enter the drive.

I bought this bag on here because one wasn't supplied withmy external DVD for my laptop (also bought on here).The bag or pouch is made from a top quality material, felt likeon the outside and a slightly rubberized feel inside.Has a nice sturdy drawerstring which looks like it will last along while.Has the Leicke emblem on the outside and imho looks very professional.Pros: A bag/pouch for most if not all External DVD/CD Drives, slim or otherwise. And has a nice look and style to it.Cons: None, its a bag/pouch, does exactly was it says.A Very nice product, would highly recommend it to anyone.RgdsCygna

I have a small travel laptop that has an external DVD drive, which unfortunately did not come with a protective bag. I don't always travel with the DVD drive but when I do, I always worry that it has no case.I was surprised to find how rare cases are for these things, so was pleased to find this one at a relatively low price. It fits exactly, will protect it from scratches, and while it's not padded at all, it is a nice quality material which feels as if it'll last.Also arrived pretty quickly from abroad.

This item does the job, I use it for an Apple superdrive which fits OK. I have knocked one star off for the poor locking toggel which is simply a bit of bent metal which does not do the job of keeping the bag closed very well. This is a shame as the bag is otherwise very well made.Overall I would recomend as I have been unable to find anything better and it does not take up much space.

Really good product, a little on the pricey side though. This is however the only pouch I could find on the market so the seller/manufacturer has spotted a clear niche here!I carry my Samsung portable cd drive round all over the country in my bag and it survives everything I throw at it in this pouch.

The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is the tie at the top isn't brilliant to keep the drive enclosed and it feels a little bit rubbery.Having said that it's a very protective case considering it's not a rigid cover.

This pouch is perfect for my DVD player - I have two of these pouches now because they are really well made
