A great, cheap game.
I bought this game with no interest in wrestling whatsoever. However, my friends convinced me to buy this game and I was not disappointed. The gameplay is typical of a wresting game from what I can tell. Its responsive and its very easy to pick up. Sometimes, its hard to be specific and certain moves are not mapped out well, but that doesn't have too much of an impact on the game itself. The graphics aren't so good anymore, but who buys a game for graphics anyway? The AI is a bit derpy. You have to change the difficulty to a higher setting to make the game more of a challenge, because normal is easy. There is a story mode set around wrestlemania. You have several stories from famous wrestlers at the time, and you can even play the story of a custom character that you have made. There is a campaign mode, where you can defeat other wrestlers and become the champion. It has its perks. I found it easier to level up in, and your wrestler gets to wear their belt after winning a tournament. The main reason I bought this game is because of the character creator. You can make your own characters, and you can even make them look as ridiculous as possible. The game gives you many outfits, with the possibility of unlocking more through the story modes. My main problem with it is that you can only have so much on a character. Hairstyles, clothes, hats and some other things are limited, and having too much will leave you with no space. Its understandable to have, but sometimes it is too restricting. Another annoying thing is that all custom characters tend to start out at skill level 40 (which is pretty low). It means that they will pretty much get the crap beat out of them unless you grind a bunch, which can sometimes take forever. It also means if I want a royal rumble with just custom characters, I have to level all of them up to make them a challenge. There are a lot of cool features with customisation. You can make your own entrances. By that, I mean you can select pre-made scenes acted out by your character, although you can choose when their name is displayed, fireworks and screen tints. You can make your own cinematic intro with clips from fights, you can edit relationships with other wrestlers (although its more just aesthetic) and you can even make your own finisher. Despite its flaws, there is a lot of customisation in the game.An amazing thing as well is that the online still works for this game. EA shuts down servers of recent games, yet you can still play a wrestling game from 2010. The options are more limited, but you can play with your friends and both show off how ridiculous your characters are. Also, there is a local multiplayer, obviously. Also, if you just want to buy this game for the achievements, there are plenty of easy ones to pick up.I would highly recommend this game for what it is: A £5 game to have some fun on. You don't even have to like wrestling. Its just a laugh.

Great fun but showing its age
I've played loads of wrestling games over the years on a number of different consoles, and WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2010 is up there with the best of them. There are plenty of game modes and the create-a-wrestler mode is packed full of features. This game is great fun to play with mates, either locally or online. The single player career mode is lacking slightly and the AI can be a bit suspect at times as well. The graphics are decent but are outclassed by more recent offerings.Worth picking up for fans of wrestling games and these days its very well priced!

To short
The improvements are graphics, few extra moves, better counter movies and now you get points at the end of the matchs to improve your wrestler. When you were out of the ring, it zoomed out. this makes it very confusing while fighting outside the ring. Plus in diva career mode once you won both the womans and diva belts. There is nothing else to do. Unlike the other version, when you could beat the hell out of the men and win the main title belt of both brands. The road to wrestlmania is a very interesting part of the game, but they should of kept 2007 career mode. Where you play in story lines which went through the different brandsTo be honest the game is to short. you could finish the game in 2 hours. Unless you want your created wrestler to achieve 99 overrule

Repetitive and pretty easy
Good game, enjoyed it for a few hours, but got repetitive quite quickly though. Good Choice of customizations and acts, you can create your own story which is pretty decent, but can be VERY long winded. Only did a couple of scenes, an interview and a match which took me an hour or so to complete (with text). Not bad for a few hours of fun, and some hardcore fans may get into it a lot more than I did. Also, as a note, this didn't "Auto Save" after any fights and I thought it would/did (as most games do) and lost about 2 hours' worth (about 15 fights) and that's when I decided to try the story mode.Overall not a bad game, wouldn't of paid more than a £10 for it.

My son was using it straight away and appears happy with the purchase
This arrived quickly and well packaged. My son was using it straight away and appears happy with the purchase. I cannot add anything more because I have not played it, but seems to work well so far.
