Fabric Jacquard Knit Fabric by The Yard (Polyester Cotton J Charcol 1 Yard)

I have been sewing, including making my own clothing for well over 50 years. I have rarely sewn with knits however, as I have trouble with them stretching out on me. I have successfully made some skirts, but tops have always been a no go. So when I got this fabric I stretched it in all directions to see where the most stretch came from. On the bias won, but I was pleased that length and crosswise grains were pretty stable. So when I have Christmas wiped off the decks of my cutting table, I will try making a skirt and possibly a top as well. I now have some of that elastic that they recommend for use on shoulders when making knits and perhaps that will help. I never had that to try prior to this.Online it looked to be black, gray, and purple, but I am seeing black, gray and red in the actual piece. It also feels a bit more heavy weight than many knits I have run into. The colors are ones that I use a lot in my clothing. I am hoping that my projects turns out well.I appreciate the opportunity to try this fabric out. Thank you.

Terrible quality… tiny holes appeared in the seams while constructing a t shirt.. would NOT recommend! Total waste of money

I got this beautiful polyester fabric for my granddaughter because she loves to do crafts with fabric. And this is a beautiful bright Chevron design, and there's so many things you can do with it. She's made a couple beanies with it and they're really cute.

I was expecting a pink/seafoam/teal colorway and it's definitely a red/black/grey colorway. I went back to the photos online and I think the first photos misrepresents the actual color. Photos 2 and 3 are very accurate. It is a knit, but it's not a stretchy knit.The description provided is correct. It would be good for a jacket, table runner, pillowcase, etc. It will be easy to cut and easy to work with.If you are a fabric hoarder like me, you'll definitely find many uses for it. I haven't decided yet, but I think I might make some Christmas stockings or ornaments from it. Hmmm....

This fabric is just not good enough quality to do any sort of real sewing with. It's hard to work with and tears easily.

I ordered 3 yards. I got 3 yards, but in 3 individual cuts.

Product is exactly like a white beaded . Definitely not beanie like . Probably good for other things tho , came quickly. Size comparison with gingher scissors .
