Silicone Case for Sony WH-1000XM5, Sony xm5 Wireless Headphones Protective case Cover (Midnight Blue)

These far exceeded my expectations. They made my headphones feel so much more premium than just the normal plasticy feel of the headphones. The holes and buttons all match and the color is a teeny bit off from the navy headphones but close enough that u won't notice. Love this set.Also, there were a lot of reviews about the silicone ear covers not staying in place. Make sure you install them correctly. The silicone cover is made to "hook" all the way around the edge of where the plastic meets the ear cushions. If it's not hooked all the way around, it will move. I haven't ad had issues with anything moving around.

The case fits very snugly. It's exactly what I am looking for. Also, the touch controls work!!!

For the earcup covers there’s a small lip that takes a bit of work to properly install onto the ear cups.The holes around the buttons could be a little bigger, they leave the buttons a little hard to press.For the headband cover, it’s quite nice, but covers the letters to show you which ear cup is Left and Right. The zipper is also a little large, and flaps around freely. A way to tuck it down would be good, or even making the zipper pull removable would be better (perhaps even a zipper with NO pull, and we could just use a paperclip or something, I’ve seen this done on beanbags before).The headphones still fit in the case they came with, if a little more snug than before, and the touch controls still work quite well for me, with a reduction in accidental activation.All in all, I’m quite happy with it, but a few minor improvements could be made.

Quality Product

I would not recommend this. There is nothing to keep the cover on the ear pieces. They will frequently fall off. Look instead for a type of cover that has a secure connection for the ear piece covers.

Maybe I just wear my headphones too often but this case made my headphones too heavy and made my head itchy. still high quality and I still use it without the zipper strap thing at the top

Bought these to better protect my XM5’s from getting scratches or anything of that nature, and it has definitely done its job. The installation was very quick and easy, and it doesn’t get in the way of anything on the headphones. While the band for your head was a feel to get a bit used to, it didn’t affect the comfortability of the headphones at all. For a great price, these covers definitely do what they say, and don’t ruin the comfortability of the headphones at all!

I initially had high hopes for this product, but unfortunately, my experience with the installation of the outer earpiece has been far from satisfactory. The process seemed simple enough: insert the lip part into the grooves, and it should stay securely in place. However, this was not the case for me.While some areas held firmly, the sections where there were cutouts simply did not stay in place. Despite my best efforts to ensure everything was aligned correctly, these parts kept failing to secure properly. This has resulted in a loose fit, which is quite frustrating and detracts from the overall functionality and comfort of the earpiece.It’s possible that I may have done something wrong during the installation, but I followed the instructions closely and even tried multiple times to get it right. The inconsistency in how the earpiece fits suggests a design flaw, particularly in how it handles the areas with cutouts.
