My new horse is off the track and will need a year off for rehab. I wanted to make sure he had good nutritional support for this transition and to promote healing. This has a good ingredients list that complimented his other feed. I feel like I'm giving him all of the right "building blocks" for good healing. He seems to like it and has been happy to eat it.

The first thing to know about this product is that it is a brand that we usually trust to be good quality. And although it contains many of the items that we find in supplements we already use, there are some additional pieces that we think will help with our quasi-rescue horse who is coming back from slightly adverse conditions, and so will swap it in for a bit as a test.It is a pellet product rather than a powder, and comes with (for it) a standard scoop. So far our girl likes it just fine added to her grain bucket. Will update with further observations as we deploy the product.

I know that this company makes quality products so I decided to give this a try for my 20 year old TB mare. She is lacking topline and also has some tendon and hoof quality issues. As these are things that this supplement could possibly help with, I thought it would be worth trying. It is a pelleted supplement that my mare readily eats. I'm looking forward to the possibility of seeing some improvements with this!

This supplement comes with its own scoop and is simple enough to use. Depending on need, the jar says to do 1-2 scoops. The pellets are thin, long and hard. The canister came with a safety seal and it was fresh upon opening. The jar has a tight lid to keep out moisture and bugs. I have to say it had a unique smell. I was trying to think of what it reminded me of and the only thing that kept popping up in my head was Chinese food. Perhaps it has a soy smell but it’s almost a more savory scent. Interesting. However I mixed it in my horses feed and there was no detection. I am happy with the ingredients and looking forward to continuing to build healthy muscle mass.
