This product never did dry ( applied over the Flex Tape to prevent predicted 6-8 ft storm surge from Milton as recommended ) and it will cause you to repaint or restain any wood item it comes in contact with. Took 4 1/2 hours to remove it from 2 French doors and 1 sliding glass door. The entry door is mahogany and the lower half must be restained. In addition- perhaps due to high humidity- the product becomes thick like sludge and the product isn’t useable when the can is still 1/2 full. Did it or the Flex Seal Tape work, you wonder? The storm surge never happened and saying we are grateful for this is an understatement, as we did flood from hurricane Ian and learned about the Tape after the fact. Next hurricane we will use more Tape and keep our fingers crossed.

Don’t put this on anything that can peel paint off unless you have imminent flooding as it will peel the paint off. Also remove it as soon as possible afterward.

Difficult to remove

Tried to get this off the front door. It won’t peel off like they say it will. Have to scrape it off and it’s embedded in the grain of the door. Also left a stain on the door! Now I’ll have to paint it. Plus the flood tape took the paint off the trim. I have four doors like this! Think twice about using it!
