Excellent product. Worth the investment

The updated Sony 16-35 GM brings welcomed upgrades. Size, weight, aperture ring, photo quality and added features. The size and weight are reduced making it more attractive for travel and video. It takes up less space in your bag and less weight making it a preferred choice for those that use this less a lot. The aperture ring is great if you are used to the other Sony lenses with it. Send more natural for those that have taken photos on a more manual camera. Photo quality overall is improved over version 1 and you will see the improvement in the corners and overall sharpness. One great feature is you can get closer to focus on your subject as close to 8.7 inches vs 11 on version 1. The Sony 16-35 II is a great upgrade if you use for video and need a lighter/smaller lens or you use the lens a lot and want to benefit from the smaller size and weight. Increased image quality is a bonus since the 16-35 already had good image quality.

This lens is “like butter” smooth, responsive and sharp. Love , love, love. I photograph high profile personalities and events. This lens is perfect, light weight, versatile in tight shooting situations. Love the f2.8 and the sharpness. Highly recommend.

Packaging was not the best; Only secured with bubble wrap. I initially panicked when received because the lens would only adjust from 20-35 & focusing was non existent. After further inspection, part of the internal lens element group was stuck. With a slight nudge the lens was perfectly new. Build quality is as expected with any Sony GM and output is stunning. Lighter than expected. Will definitely be my everyday lens on my camera. Weight, autofocus, aperture ring are all positives on this lens.

I consider it to be a great lens, with incredible image quality. We are very satisfied with the product.

Sony A7 IV ile birlikte kullanıyorum, özellikle netlik ve detay açısından çok iyi sonuçlar veriyor. Ürün çekimleri için tercih ettim ve renk doğruluğu ile keskinliği fazlasıyla yeterli buldum. Biraz ağır olduğu için elde uzun süreli kullanımda hafif titremeler oluşabiliyor ancak tripodla çalışıldığında bu durum tamamen ortadan kalkıyor, özellikle düşük ışıklı ortamlarda tripod gerekli. En iyi sonuçları almak isteyenler için RAW formatta çekim yapıp, sonrasında bir düzenleme programı üzerinden JPEG’e dönüştürmek kesinlikle tavsiye edilir. Bu şekilde hem görüntü kalitesi korunuyor hem de ışık ve renk ayarlarında çok daha fazla kontrol sağlanabiliyor.
