For some reason, my wife's original TV remote would not control the volume level. She didn't tell me and resorted to "old school" adjust the volume with the buttons on the set. I, of the "not knowing", would sometimes complain that the sound was too high as I was trying to work or sleep in another part of the house. She, of the "not telling", would try to lower the volume. This back and forth ended in a little flashpoint where all was disclosed and a new remote (this one) was ordered. I purchased the TV as a gift to replace her old 19 inch CRT set and she didn't want to complain that something didn't work, I don't think we've ever made a better purchase.

After about a month of use i Accidentally knocked the Remote off my desk and when i picked it up i noticed that the outer shell was cracked just above the battery compartmentIts a good remote and i didn't have to look up a pairing code when i first used it but feels cheaply made

Worked out of box for my tv\dvd combo tv. The model number is on the back of tv. My old remote stopped working after 8 years.

Works just like it should,but no button for 'TV'. Have to use 'source' button. Not a big deal. Fits my hand better than original.Purchased in Feb. 2021.December,buttons are sticking and sometimes confused with function.Lesson learned: Save the little plastic bag it comes in. Gunk from munching while watching tv probably the culprit.Warranty is only 30 days.I've ordered another one.

This Sceptre remote works properly on the Sceptre TV-DVD combo I bought last year. A few of the keys have been rearranged and it doesn't appear to be as well finished as the original remote.

I lost my remote for my 32" Spectre remote. My problem is my model has a DVD player. I could not find a replacement anywhere. This one works perfectly and I prefer the layout to the original remote. This one is wider and easier to find buttons.

A remote for the exact model of my discontinued TV/DVD combo was unavailable so I bought the one that looked the most like it. It works! Lost one star because there's not a TV button (just have to use the menu to go back to TV). Overall I am happy with the purchase as I can watch DVDs again.
