(loved that feature).⛔️🚧 WORD OF CAUTION: 🚧⛔️Beware of the dimension you order. My window has a width of 28"W. Based on the description, the shade size includes a 1/2" industry standard deduction. So considering that, I ordered 27"W panel. But when it came> End-to-end frame width is 26.5"> End-to-end Shade/fabric width is ONLY 25.2". (please refer pictures)For me, the inside mount leaves almost 1.5" gap on both sides and does NOT cover the window. Wish the fabric has just 1" more wide, it would have made an awesome product. It would leave a considerably big gap, even if your window is 27"W. I am looking for using it for any of my smaller windows (because I love the look and feel of the product). But if none of them fits, I will be returning it 😒

I'm really happy with these shades. I ordered 4 of the Felton White shades for my living room. Love the clean, simple look of these. The white is nice and bright and lets in a lot of light. They also provide privacy. I checked them at night with lights on inside and you cannot see through them, maybe a bit of faint shadowing but they are very opaque. The mechanism to raise and lower them is smooth and easy. A quick snap and they glide up on their own. And it's not a fast, crazy whip up to the top. They go up nice and easy! Lowering is the same, just pull it a bit and lower. Clicks right into place and seems to line up perfectly with my window sill each time. Installation was super easy. There are two metal brackets with two screws each. There are two holes for the screws on the farther ends and a wider open slot between the holes which allows you to adjust where you put the screws a bit. Glad it was like that because I needed the screws closer together to fit my more narrow window sill. Then the shade snaps right in and feels very secure once in place. We raise and lower our shades twice daily and so far they feel durable. Will see how that holds up after a few years! Also, the plastic handle and wooden toggle are removable options. I took mine off and like it better. It's a more modern look. Overall, these are good shades for the price and I recommend them!

These are great quality shades.(see picture) I had looked at Home Depot and Lowes, and even their custom made brand name shades looked flimsy. So, I ordered these and am so pleased with them. The mechanism for raising and lowering them is smooth and easy, not at all like the older shades from many years ago. The shade itself is made of high quality material, and I am hoping they will last a long time... they should be easy to clean, too. About installation, I rarely do things like that, and certainly don't have skills in that area, but was able to hang them with no trouble. Initially, I tried screwing the brackets in with just a phillips head screwdrivier, but I have arthritis in my hands, so that was too hard. I tried a rechargeable electric screwdriver, and got them up in no time. I have the rollout casement windows, and had trouble finding shades to fit, but these have top brackets instead of side brackets which made the measuring and hanging very easy.They just clip right in..(ps... these shades are almost the same as the Springblinds you can order from Amazon, just a different color, so this is basically the same review with a different picture...great shades..VERY satisfied. I ordered the Chicology shades for my kitchen and a bathroom because they let a little light in, and the Springblinds for my living room because they are blackouts.)

I loved the look and feel of these shades. It did not appear cheap nor plastic. The issue is that the hardware. The head rail is ivory with white metal and the pull is white when the shade I choose was truffle (brown). Chicology should offer choice in these items. The other problem is the easy shade retraction feature is outstanding but easily broken. I have been unable to get help with repair and this would be my second return in just under two months.

I LOVE this roller shade and it isexactly what I wanted on my kitchen window. It glides as if you were controlling it with a remote. I just installed it a day ago and I was able to go outside and look inside. You can’t see a thing! And I’m also able to get that beautiful daylight yet no direct sun to harm my hanging plants. I love love it and highly recommend it. The material seem a very durable.

I ordered a pair of the solar shades for set of French doors that lead to a balcony. With the current heatwave, the interior was getting way too warm. They were really easy to install. They are very low-profile with clean, modern lines. Light is still able to filter through the shade, which is exactly what I was hoping would happen. I love the look and am hoping my electric bill will reflect the improvement. Highly recommend!

I ordered three of these, and the 35" x 72" came without any hardware. They include a card in all of the packages that asks if you're missing hardware, so it seems like they know this is an issue but they still can't be bothered to actually make sure the hardware ships with each item. I like the other two I ordered and they were easy to install, but this seems like a really basic thing to not be able to do consistently.Update: Chicology attempted to ship the missing parts to me on on Aug 2nd, but it's been returned to sender by USPS due to "insufficient address", even though I provided them with the correct address. It would have been much faster to return the product and order another one! Looks like I'll have to wait another week before I can actually use this thing.

We purchased several of these for our new home. They’re perfect for letting light in during the day and pulling down for privacy at night. We were please with them until now 3 months later when some do not roll back up completely and one broke away from the plastic edge.

Love this shade, very easy to install, and the mechanism works extremely smoothly. I have them in a back door situation that gets a ton of sun all day, and needed something to keep it from shining in my eyes all the time. These do the trick! My only complaint is that, against my white door frame, they read as yellowed, or very off white. I would prefer them to be pure white, but I can live with it.

I priced out a blind at my local hardware store and it was $219. Funny enuf it was just like this one for 1/4 the cost. Wud definately recommend to anyone.

They came in a box covered with grease, with the parts broken inside. They looked to be ok blinds, I’m blaming quality control. But Lowe’s sell Levolor solar blinds, that they will customize the size in store, on spot, and they’re cheaper!

Very clean lines. Adds a modern look to an older home.
