A very good sounding pickup, true to your guitars tone. Worth every penny.

Soundhole pickups always sound a bit electric, it's in their nature. Unless you have £400 for a Mimesis Kudos.This is competing with the Fishman Rare Earth Blend which is more expensive and has a better Mic. This one has a small condenser on the back of the pickup rather than a moveable gooseneck on the Fishman.The good thing about the SA6 is the adjustable poles for custom string balance and although the mic isn't as good as the rare earth it still has a decent sound adding air and body to the sound. This is a good value, low footprint pickup with as good a sound as you can get with a soundhole pickup that isn't a Mimesis.

I've had my Mg mic for over a year now and it is the greatest soundhole pick up ever! But unfortunately the mic blend has stopped working, does anyone now if there a guarantee on it?

This is a decent pick-up, have fitted it to my Martin D28, and the sound is good. I'm not convinced that the mic part is that great, you can hear a slightly fuller sound when you turn it on, wondering if I shouldn't have gone for the fishman one with the mic, but this seemed more compact and is cheaper. Would still recommend.

When it works, it's great. But an intermittent fault has let the side down badly at two gigs now. Seems like a bad contact somewhere inside; poor quality control in manufacture. I'll send it back and try a replacement - we may just have been unlucky.

Relatively easy to fit and decent sound, though even with the mag pickup volume turned down and the mic volume up higher the sound still sounded relatively magnetic so I relied on my 8 band eq pedal.I'm a professional musician and sad to say that the pickup has died after a year of use (and for no reason! Was playing live and sound cut put!). I won't be buying another.

This is an amazing pickup for my aging, but beloved acoustic 6-string. The hum-bucking pickup posts are individually adjustable for customizing sound. The fullness of the additional internal microphone gives a fully adjustable and rounded wood sound when amplified. It was easy to install for mobile use, or for more permanent wiring through the end post. I couldn't be more pleased all around!

Arrivato incartato bene e in anticipo. Non mi aspettavo un pick up di queste prestazioni vale tutti i soldi spesi. Facile il montaggio consiglio una buona batteria così dura un eternità. Voto 10.

This pickup is the best understring pickup I have ever heard. I guess that's why so many pro players use them. I don't bother with a microphone now when recording, it actually sounds better and you don't have to sit frozen in front of a Mic to get your levels right. I also like that you don't have to permanently mount it in the guitar. The guitar it's on is somewhat collectable and I don't want to modify it in any way. You can get an incredibly real sound very easily by balancing the magnetic pickup's string attack with the microphone's warm body sound, all without having to mess with multiple mics and pickups. I love the sound it captures and how easy it is to set up and use.
