4 Inch Stem Caster 3/8" No Brake

I may add sleeves to the exposed 5/16” threaded stems for extra stability, but honestly, they already feel rock-solid and it probably won’t be necessary. Overall, this is a high-quality, smooth-rolling, reliable caster set with excellent load capacity. I’m very impressed and would highly recommend these to anyone looking for durable, heavy-duty casters for furniture or equipment.

Got these for an Amason Basics narrow sized 4-tier wire shelving unit. They screwed right in and perform well. The semi-opn bearing chamber smells greasy and there was a little bit of residue, which I wiped off. They roll and swivel well.

ended up not being the right wheels for the project I was needing wheels for, but they were well made and definitely heavy duty.

Very nice, smooth rolling wheels. Bearings in the wheels make for easy moving heavier items a breeze. Comes with nuts and washers plus a usable "wrench" to hold the wheel during installation of the top nut. I'm very pleased!

Bought a small desk that happened to have 1/4 "- 20 screw-in leg levelers, and I swapped the leg levelers out for these. The threaded inserts in the desk I bought seem to be fairly robust, so I think these wheels are going to work out the way I want. The wheels themselves are as advertised. Size and thread are accurate, and the mini wrench is cheesy but effective in tightening them down. I didn't use the washers and screws that came with the wheels, so I can't speak to those. I bought a red set and a black set, and they're both identical in every way, except for wheel color. There's no brake on the ones I bought, and that works well for my application. The wheels roll very nicely, and there's no brake to accidently get engaged. The stem is a full inch, so be aware of that. The stems were a tiny bit too long for my application. I thought about cutting the stems, but instead I ended up using an extra washer to get the stem to thread all the way into the threaded inserts on the bottom of my desk. Overall, very pleased with these. They're not heavy duty 5-inch wheels, but they're solid little 2-inch wheels, and I think they'll prove to be well worth the price. Time will tell, but these seem to be a great value.

Not even light duty. The 1 inch threaded 1/4x20 "stem" failed. Installed these on the 4 legs of a kitchen bar stool supporting a 200 pound man or a 9 pound cat. One of the threaded stems bent over and then broke after 2-3 days of use. The wheels might be strong, but the threaded stems fail (bend and break) much too easily. Musta been my deranged miscreant cat, Brutus. I suspect he got onto the barstool at night and went careening around the kitchen until he weakened the caster stems. Then he'd come to bed with me acting all innocent.

I found the item to be exactly as described, with smooth-rolling casters and a heavy-duty build. I'm satisfied with the product overall; however, the included wrench was ineffective—it was too loose and bent right away when I tried to use it on the first wheel.

Las estoy usando en mi escritorio y en el mueble de mi computadora, son muy firmes y se sientes suaves al momento de deslizar los muebles, el freno no requiere mucha fuerza para aplicarlo y queda firme en su posición, no sé bota, los rodamientos vienen bien lubricados, las ruedas son de excalente calidad, muy estéticas, soportan cargas pesadas y eso las hace perfectas para durar mucho más tiempo.
