Perfect for young kids- very durable.
No, they don’t light up… but it’s pretend, ya know? These are great for young Star Wars fans. My nephew is 3, adores Vader, but loves all three of these sabers. And to be honest, I’m glad these don’t light up. All these light up toys have batteries which pose a risk any time you have infants, toddlers, or dogs in the house. It’s one less thing we have to monitor. Not to mention, these telescoping sabers can take a beating. And at only 9 bucks per saber, it’s a pretty good deal considering these will probably be around for at least a couple years.

The force is with my 3 kids.
Santa brought for my 3 kids, they go around fighting with it all the time. They love them.

Great for a young Star Wars enthusiast
These are the toughest toys I've ever seen. Our 3 year old carries these with him everywhere and bears them, drops them, throws them and they never break. Very good quality for the price. The only thing that has happened is the finish has worn off just a bit but it literally looks like wear from real use. Almost like battle damage. Super fun and totally worth it.

I was hoping these would be spring loaded.
I was hoping these would be spring loaded, but my grandson and his friends play with them nonetheless. They seem durable. They do not light up, but kids these days need to use their imagination more anyway.

HOW CAN THESE BE LIGHTSABERS WITH NO LIGHTS?
Saw these while looking for lightsabers for my son. Was excited to see it was a 3 pack at decent price. When I pulled them out of the box, I was happy to see they looked like their picture but.... there was no button to turn them on. Highly disappointed and would not recommend to anyone. My son seemed so sad by this, and I didn't see it mentioned anywhere till I read the reviews right now. Will have to shell out more money now for a lightsaber that actually works.
