G-BOX 3 OZ Freeze Dried Skittles, Delightful Crunchy Fruity Flavorful Burst, Air-tight Sealed in a Deli Container

Freeze dried candy seems to be getting more popular these days, and I have to say it is a fun, unique way to eat some of your favorite sweet things. The textures completely change, making it a whole new experience. Skittles are a common find though I think these particular ones were a little lackluster compared to some others we've tried. The texture wasn't quite as light and dry as our previous experience, and a couple of the Skittles were still chewy. It almost felt as if they weren't freeze dried for long enough. They were still tasty though.

A most novel confectionary treat! I was really surprised by the most interesting texture of these freeze dried skittles. So tasty that before I even realized I had eaten half the container.They could use a better tamper seal, maybe a heat shrink ring? I will probably order some more to give as gifts.

I love how light and crunchy these are. The outer shell isn’t freeze dried so it still has the same crunch as the chewy version. The insides are freeze dried and so airy and crunchy. They also have a stronger, fruitier flavor than the chewy kind. I did find a few that were not freeze dried at all which is the only reason I’m taking a star off.

G-Box Freeze Dried Candy is a fun new way to taste the rainbow. When looking at it, it made me think of an French macaron cookie as the center is white while the outsides are a solid color that includes red, green, purple, yellow, or orange. When I popped one bite into my mouth, I just let it sit and dissolve on my tongue. The puffy white center of the candy began melting immediately while the colored sides were the last pieces to remain. When I bit through the thin colored candy shells, it definitely was a Skittles shell. The concentrated fruity flavor grew more prominent the longer the candy stayed on my tongue. I loved it. The candies are kept in a resealable plastic container that you might find in a supermarket deli. There were crumbs of broken pieces as well as a white powder/dust at the base of the container that I received. There are no ingredients listed nor does it list where the candy was made or a best by/expiration date. The only information listed is the manufacturer logo with a red tamper resistant seal tape. Given the price I expected more transparency and basic information provided. Because of the lack of information, I do not plan on adding another order to my Amazon cart.

I love freeze dried candies. They are nice and crunch and still have the flavor of the original candy.The only feedback I have is that I would have preferred something with a safety seal. These come in a deli tub with a strip of tape.

Let me start by saying, prior to this, I didn't even know freeze dried candy was a thing. I had absolutely no idea what to expect when I ordered these, but, I'm also always up to try new things. They kind of look like pacman eating dots. When I received them, I had to try them immediate, and what I found was just wow. These are absolutely delightful. Rather than the chew that skittles are known for, these instead are slightly harder due to the lack of moisture, but they aren't so hard that they feel like jaw breakers. The texture is similar to KIX cereal. They're easy to eat, and even easier to eat far more than you meant to. The flavor is concentrated, but also sweeter due to less moisture cutting it down.Overall, I am happy to recommend these. Everyone should try freeze dried candy at least once.

Freeze dried Skittles are addicting.little crunchy and chewy bits of heaven. A lot of the other freeze dried candies I have ordered have been too big to just pop on my mouth, or a bit too hard and a few so chewy I was afraid I was going to lose a filling. Skittles on the other hand, small enough to pop in your mouth, over and over and over until this little container is empty. I did enjoy that the wmpty container could be repurposed into Tupperware for later, but wanted more skittles.

Every candy should be freeze dried, it makes them so much more delicious somehow! It tastes exactly like Skittles but since it’s puffed up all the sugar particles are surrounded by air, making the pieces light, easy to crunch, and yummy AF. Freeze dried, they don’t stick up in my teeth like the regular kind do, so I especially love this version. Container came packed full and sealed well!
