The housing was a perfect drop in replacement. After looking closely at the old one, if you are replacing the thermostat, it is probably a really good idea to replace the housing as well.

Wanted this part mainly because of price and it looked durable enough. My car is down and thought I would get it fast. Problem was that it got lost in shipping. Can't rate because I don't have it! (Yet). I mean YET because it's still roaming somewhere unknown! Had to order from someone else. Whichever order comes first gets used and the other (if it ever makes it) gets returned. UPDATE: The long lost part finally arrived 3 days late. It seemed durable and designed for what it was needed for. It was a nice thick plastic, heavy duty. Unfortunately, sent it back because the other order showed up first. Still, be wary of the shipping. Because of what I saw of it, I'll give it a few extra stars.
