Bought this to replace an old tea pot that was past its prime.Had a Tefal version of this many many years ago and was looking for something similar.This makes an excellent put of tea in just under ten minutes.It's made for the German market but it has a UK adapter fixed to the plug.Easy to use, fill it with water, put some tea or teabags in the filter and switch on. Ten minutes later, a perfect cup of tea.

Makes an excellent strong cup of tea. Haven't tried it with coffee as not keen on it.Marked it down one, as the shape, although pretty, does mean that the pot has to be tipped a long way to pour. With arthritic wrist difficult.

I use this for tea. In short it's great. Doesn't stew the tea as the bags/leaves are not submerged and keeps it hot.

only 4 stars as it has no visual indicator when its finished brewing but otherwise makes good tea easy to keep clean ( no build up of residue from the tea) the spout could be easier to pour if it wasn't bowl shaped changed from 4 stare got this 17th june 2018 has just died that's the second one its now only 12/10/2018less than 4 months

I have this in my bedroom as l have reynauds. Cold attacks make it difficult to leave my bed sometimes. So being able to flick a switch to make a hot drink is great. It’s all brewed and ready to pour within a few minutes.It is quite noisey. But not enough to wake my sleeping kids next door. Once done, the cycle just goes quite, though it will start up again if the machine is left on to re warm the tea.Pouring...well thats the let down!I have to use both hands. One to hold my cup to the spout at an angle, the other to pour the kettle. The spout is small and poorly designed l think. It comes out slow and you really have to tip the kettle right up and over because of its very bowl like shape!!! It gets hot when doing this too as the heat/steam rise up because of the poor handling design. I’m more prone to feeling temp change. But even when l am reynauds free, it’s still an effort to juggle and manage!This is the only one l could find of its kind which is why l purchased it. I’m an addaptable person so l can manage. But l wouldn’t recommend for anyone who has arthritis, elderly, any disability affecting handling, or anything like that. My mum loves the idea of this, but l won’t be purchasing or recommend it for her either. She’s in her 70’s with a few struggles. So not a product for her either.It’s worth the purchase if you don’t mind the effort and juggling act to pour it!!!

Like it. Brews yes nicely.

Makes excellent cuppa in under 8 mins. Not tried making coffee as yet. Would recommend.
