The media could not be loaded. Bought two different magnetic pen sets as a birthday gift for the same person, one blue, one multicolor with the soccer ball spinner. He loved them! He came up with the spinning top design in the video.Bought two more as fidget toys for my gaming group. They are quiet. The magnets are STRONG.The pen is heavy.You do need at least two pen sets to make the cool designs.The metallic colors are lovely. I like the multicolor and the blue.The pens work as well, but we mostly use them as fidget toys.The soccer ball spinner is not magnetic. It is fun to spin the soccer ball with your thumb.They are pretty sturdy. They have been played with a lot and only one magnet has chipped.Not good for small children. The pieces are tiny and easy to swallow or jam into a nose or ear.But for older kids and adults, they are fantastic fidget toys that you can pretend you bought for use as a pen.

I purchased this pen as a distraction object for amusement while taking notes and generally organizing my life. I have always been someone who needs a fidget or other object to keep me occupied while I watch lectures or other videos. This seemed like the perfect compromise! A pen that was magnetic and stuck to the metal ring on my finger! Metal balls to make different designs for more dedicated amusement. A perfect combo!However, there is one minor flaw. The ink that came with this pen had air in the tube, making writing choppy and uneven. Fortunately, the refill only seems to have one air pocket in the middle and is writing smoothly with no issues thus far. I will have to toss the first pen refill even though it is completely full simply because it is unusable. I most likely got a bad pen in the batch, and it is luck of the draw, but it still stinks to have to toss out a pen canister that is practically unused.As a fidget product, you cannot go wrong with this pen. Snapping it apart and then back together is endlessly amusing. Adding in the metal balls or playing with those on their own is the perfect time-wasting mix for all ages (as long as they are old enough not to try and swallow these small pieces). The pen is prismatic, too, so you can rotate it to see different shades of color. Overall, with the exception of the bad ink refill, this is a great product.

I bought this for my son who works as a security guard. He really likes it and he's over 30! Some nights can be long and boring and this fidget toy helps him pass the time while watch security cameras and walking the building perimeters for 12 hrs at night. Definitely a good purchase!
