Keep these away from little kids because they look like a tube of candy.
So convenient. Very sturdy and awesome to take along since they take up so little space. I LOVE that they are ALL already in a tube. I feel it was worth the extra money. If you save the tubes, you can buy just the tissue coins next time and refill them.

Great for travel
We took a trip to Scotland. We were advised earlier that some hotels did not provide wash clothes (for face, etc). I took these in a small clear bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant and these tissues.. Worked great in the airport to freshen up.

SPACE SAVER
I tried ONE ok and they seem to be OK. I know that they are a big space saver. I am not sure how and when I am going to use them. I will have to do the math and see if I want to use them every day for a quick bath towel. I know they're going to be handy!

Very convenient
I've known about the "bath" size compressed towels for some time. Recently read an article from a survivalist about how he used these "hand" size compressed towels as emergency toilet paper in the wild. Did some research and found that there are a wide variety of brands, in a couple of different kinds of material, packaged in a variety of ways. I chose this product and am very happy with it. One thing I liked is that it's a box of tubes, each of which contains ten pellets. The tubes are sturdy, waterproof, and easy to open and close. They're small enough that I can toss one in a pocket, fanny pack, backpack, camera bag, etc. and know I'll always have a reasonable number of towels at hand. With the tubes being sturdy and waterproof, I have confidence that no matter what I do the towels will be fine. It only takes about two teaspoons of water to make a pellet unfoldable. The towel can definitely be used as emergency toilet paper, but is a mesh (so has lots of small holes), so you'll want to fold it a couple of times before use. It's make of viscose, which is normally derived from wood pulp, so should be biodegradable. These towels (when dry) also burn reasonably well, so can be used as tinder for fire-making. And they're sturdy enough to be used several times (as a towel) before they start tearing apart.

Awesome Space Saver!
I took these with me on a mission trip to El Salvador. We had to bring our own toilet paper so rather than taking up space with big rolls, I used these little gems. Each tube contains 10 Tums-sized dry "coins". The tubes are air tight with a snapping lid. The coins expand when placed in about a teaspoons worth of liquid. The tissues are quite sturdy and when expanded, are about the size of a piece of paper towel. The texture reminds me of a 4x4 gauze pad and the thickness is roughly equivalent to the gauze pad if it were unfolded. I would not flush these...they're thicker than toilet paper and might cause back-ups. This was not an issue in El Salvador because they use trash cans for disposal, rather than flushing. The only tiny inconvenience I ran into a couple of times was lack of water supply or forgetting to wet the coin before going into the stall. If you don't have liquid they will not expand and then they're useless. I'm so glad I bought these and will definitely use them again.

Lightweight but tough
These are nicely packaged to stay dry, which is important. They are packaged in re-closable tubes which hold 10 towels which is very nice. They swell up when water is poured on them to be unfolded and used. I used the first one to clean my grand niece's face with just a dollop of water from my water bottle. Worked like a champ. Excellent for the purse or backpack.

Nice and compact. Strong and cloth-like
I bought these Gor for Go Bags. They are nice and compact, taking up minimal space. Strong and cloth like, I can see rinsing and reusing these (not after toilet use!) I now pop them into my purse and the diaper bag for quick clean ups. Yes you need water but we always have water bottles so that's not an issue.
