I had this weird idea that hm, there just might be a way to transfer data to and from the Fire tablet ... all I would need is a short piece of cable, a female USB at one end for a flash drive, and a male USB-C at the other end ...Crazy idea. Until I found out about "OTG" and so forth.Yeah, go ahead and laugh at the old man. Well, many people might assume that this would work only with "legitimate" tablets, and laptops, and so forth, but they would be wrong:I plugged this thing into my Fire tablet, and a flash drive into the other end, and BOOM: instant data transfer. It's like a dream. I couldn't envision a better way. In fact -- I like the interface better than the one that we're supposed to use. Can someone at Amazon get on this?I LOVE my Fires (I have two: a Fire HD 8, and an HD 10), and this just changed everything for me. Now I can have ALL of my books (many are ancient texts only available as PDFs) plus movies! It's so fast, too.I cannot recommend this one highly enough. It's a really excellent quality. Very strong, yet flexible. It's unlikely to get broken, but even if it does ... I'll buy it again!
