Good value, should do the trick
The Dry Bag:I purchased the 5L bag. The instructions for closing the bag are a bit oversimplified. It says to fold it over 3x, then buckle the strap. I found it to be more like 2.5x. It's easier to see the correct orientation if you have a couple things in the bag to maintain the shape. When closed, the strap should be facing flat side up, with the buckle secured above that forming a perfect carrying handle (though there is an optional handle on the side as well). The 5L size has enough space to hold a full size towel (neatly rolled), a pair of flip flops (assuming you dont have massive feet), and your phone, keys and wallet. Thats all I'm planning on having out on the water with me. What you put in the bag will affect the buoyancy, but all the empty space will be air and help keep it afloat. By the appearance and feel of the bag, I do not get the reassuring sense that it is particularly sturdy. I wouldnt trust the plastic to hold up with heavy items or lots of abuse. I'd keep the total weight of the items low, about 5lbs. The folding of the plastic works really well to seal off the bag, but I'm afraid that this would also be the weak point of the structure after long hours in the sun and repeated use. I'll have to update this review after a while to see if it holds up, a lot of other reviews show tears at this crease. The whole point of the bag to me is complete watertightness and buoyancy (at least temporarily) so if I slip up on my SUP, all my things can be safely retrieved after I recover. Unless you have a buddy on the shore, you'll want to keep things with you so that your phone or keys arent stolen from wherever you set them down. The phone pouch:Lanyard is a bit cheap and doesnt seem comfy or convenient, I probably wont use it. The pouch will provide buoyancy to the phone, enough to suspend the top clasp at or above the water surface. I filled my kitchen sink up and submerged my phone within the pouch intermittently for a couple minutes. Any time I let go of the phone it would pitch up to reach the surface. I retrieved my phone from the pouch completely dry afterward. If you are out on the water and drop your phone in, this will not only protect the phone from the water infiltration, but also prevent it from plummeting to the bottom. Depending on the water transparency, visibility of a lost phone may be spotty, you might even put some reflective tape on the plastic retainer to help with that. The touch screen and forward camera should work fine with the phone in the pouch, the face cam seemed pretty blurry because there was more air/fogging on that side, you may get inconsistent results based on the shape of the phone. In case you were wondering, the touch screen will not work once submerged, so dont plan on taking any underwater pictures. Though I wouldn't recommend this for any sort of underwater usage anyway, I can't imagine the pouch is air tight once you start adding in the pressure of a couple feet down. For a free accessory, I give this a big thumbs up!

My phone is currently at the bottom of a river but is still working cause of this.
I bought this for a river trip, trying to white water raft on a paddle board with my dog. It got a little spicy at times, and at one point, my paddle board capsized and me and my dog went to shore while my paddle board floated down the river. When I got it back, despite it being thrown around the river, all of the things in the dry bag were perfectly dry. My phone, fell into the river in the phone cover. I kid you not, I am currently on my way back to the river to try and find it because that S.O.B is alive and well in it's lil Heeta Waterproof phone cover and I'm using it's location to avoid a new phone. 10/10 would recommend

Nice dry bag for wherever
This bag was great for our beach time. The water proof phone case that came with was nice. Worked fine as far as touch for me. Played music without worry of sand. Would I personally submerge it? Probably not because I'm paranoid, but....it does appear like it would be. 2 Liter bag was nice but I plan on a larger one in the future.

Works as expected.
I have used this bag once, but the phone case it came with has been trialed twice. We did an overnight waterproof test in the sink and no water leaked into either device. My only complaint is that the closure device on the phone case came apart and I had a loose piece stuck down inside the case with my phone and it was hard to get it back together. This could interfere with the integrity of the case. Overall, the product has functioned as expected

Capacious & Waterproof
We purchased these for a trip to Costa Rica, having been warned to never leave belongings out of sight. The DryBag worked great in the water: all of our items were dry. I have learned to always check this kind of thing before actual use with valuable items, so we did the tissue-inside-underwater bag for 15 minutes and all was good. Just be sure to roll the top as instructed.

Love the color, size, and appears to deliver on being waterproof
This is the same review for the other bags I bought as they all function the same but are different sizes and colors: I use this for kayaking trips, both ocean and pond/lake. Provided waterproof storage and was clear enough to see contents of the bag without having to rifle through to find something. The free waterproof phone cover that came with it, I can attest, actually worked well too when I dropped my phone straight into the ocean and it remained dry! The color is terrific and matches my sea kayak! I also purchased other sizes and colors to use with my other kayak I use more for flat water paddling. Overall proving to be a good product this far!

Alaska, Yukon, NW Territories and BC Proof
I bought the 5, 10 and 20 liter bags to waterproof gear for my epic trip though Alaska, Yukon and the NWT to the Arctic Ocean. They survived numerous rain storms and the harsh condition of the Denali and Dempster Highways. My drone was always bone dry as was the rest of my gear. I like the translucent nature of the bags so you can see what's inside! If these wear out, I'll replace them with the same product.

Great deal
I got the 10L because my friends have a 5L and it’s just a tad too small. This one was perfect. I’ve also noticed a lot of bags say “do not submerge” as if they can’t actually get wet but this bag is definitely waterproof. Great purchase.

great 5L water bag
We went tubing and I brought this bag with us which was perfect. Small enough to fit in the tube but big enough to hold snacks and a few important items. The only thing i wish is that the top of the bag had some type of zipper or something to close it with and not just to fold it over. Otherwise its a great bag, i hope it last a log time.

Great bag
Love that it's see through to find what I need quickly. Kept my stuff dry while strapped to my paddle board too. And easy to carry (10L size) both on the paddle board, and for a hike.

Dry
Everybody take the worst picture EVER for review.. so look mine ACCURATE!! Very good product. The shaker is just a reference to compare the size of the bag.
