Q: Does this hurt the ears when in use?

With the new 5mm thick neoprene headstrap we find less pressure on the ears. However, for some people to get Neck-Ease tight enough to produce good results there can be some discomfort on the ears. Still, this design makes Neck-Ease MUCH SAFER compared to other products that secure around the front of the neck and under the jaw.

Q: Is this HSA eligible?

This Neck Traction device should be covered by your HSA provider but I am not sure if they would accept a receipt from a transaction done through Amazon. A purchase through a Chiropractor's office should, however, easily be accepted by HSA. I know that Premier Spine & Pain Institute in Colorado stocks them and will ship for free.

Unlike all other traction units out there, Neck-Ease lets you easily do repeated cycles of ON/OFF traction with the power of your legs, which is clinically proven to rehydrate discs. This lessens the pain from DDD.

Yes, Neck-Ease is safer because it does NOT wrap around the front of your neck. This is one of the biggest advantages of Neck-Ease traction device, it only contacts the back of your neck, base of the skull and grips over the forehead -- all places where there is no contact to vulnerable blood vessels. The neoprene neck band will put pressure on your ears so be warned, this might be a bit uncomfortable; but it's a trade-off for a safer, more effective design for neck traction and decompression.
