One cat loves it and plays with it at least once a day. The other two are not interested. I have tried dried catnip, spray catnip, and fresh catnip from my garden. Nothing entices them to try it.

I really loved this and so did my cat. The cat nipped kept him focused and entertained and out of my hair. He eventually figured out how to get the ball out and broke it. I will say he is an aggressive, orange, male tabby. If the ball had been easy to replace, I would’ve kept this and given it 5 stars.

The idea is great. The videos make it look great. In reality, it doesn't expand and then hold its shape. By this, I mean if you wanted a big hole in the center so the cat can crawl through, forget it. The hole MIGHT expand to 5 inches in diameter but won't hold open to that diameter. Anything larger and the whole thing separates and you no longer have a circular toy. It goes back to its shipping, unattached size. So NO, I do not recommend it. Another gimmicky cat toy that sounds and looks good in the ads but it just doesn't work.

He’ll randomly go over and scratch and sometimes when he has just a bit more energy he’ll look for the ball.

My cats love this. If they not playing with it, they curls up on it and sleep. Sometimes they even do their nails. Great toy for them. Easy to set .

Looked fun, thought my youngest ( 2 years ) cat would like it. He has shown a little interest. One of my older ( 9 years ) took the time to figure out how to remove the ball. I put it back and he hasn’t renewed his interest. If I shake it around and swirl the ball it’ll get someone’s interest, probably because they are trying to figure out what I am doing playing with cat toys. It’s too small for any of my chuck-o’s to sleep on top of it like they do with another version of these accordion cardboard scratchers. They actually fight over the big one. My youngest and smallest cat ( 10# ) likes to hide under the big one. This one is too small for that. I think it is geared toward kittens, small kittens . Then it would look BIG to them and I can see them loving it like my big boys like the big one I have too. The big one does not have a ball. I think it’s cute and fun, but I didn’t buy it for me. :(

It could be larger so the cats could rest on the top once openedWell made and very imaginative!
