I wanted to like SRI SRI TATTVA Protein Shampoo for Normal to Dry Hair -- and it is OK.This shampoo does not give much lather when you are scrubbing your hair. I want it to lather more. A lather makes me feel like I'm getting my hair cleaner, and I'm missing that. My hair does feel clean after using the product though.The shampoo has a light scent of fenugreek. The scent does totally wash out of my hair after shampooing. When I am through using the shampoo my hair does feel soft.Other than the non-lathering issue, this is a good shampoo. It is just not a shampoo I would get again. I want more of a wow factor when I shampoo.

This is a fairly good performing shampoo. It lathers well, cleans well, doesn't dry out my hair or scalp, and rinses clean. The downside for me is the scent. It's a very perfumy, floral scent that is pronounced and lingers. If you like perfumy florals this may hit the spot scent-wise, but it's too strongly scented for me to allow for more than occasional use (the instructions recommend using it twice weekly). It has a thinner consistency than other "premium" shampoos I've used, and more is needed per use than I expected.The cost per ounce is rather high even compared with "high end" brands. While it's a good performing shampoo, I don't consider the cost to be in line with the value. It comes in a sealed bottle, and there was zero leakage in transit. It is made in India.One star down for the scent; half star down for the value. Overall score of 3.5 stars. It's not a terrible shampoo, but it's not something I would get again.

First of all I was pleased with this shampoo. It has a nice and mild pleasant smell. It is a natural white color and lathers well. I feel it does a good job cleaning. It has a nice soft silky feel to it and rinses out well. I think it is a good shampoo, and the fact that it has natural ingredients from seed extracts that are good for your hair is a bonus. I'd like to see it come in a larger bottle, the one I got is a 200 ml size.

milky, light texture that foams up nicely. smells amazing (not strong at all, leaves a faint fragrance on the hair) and thoroughly cleans the hair. this is great for my hair type which is fine, thin hair that is recovering from postpartum hair loss. it strengthened and kept the hair shiny. felt soft and strong. left that squeaky clean feel so make sure to condition afterwards if you dont like that feeling. It doesnt bother me personally as my hair isn't damaged from heat or dye either.

One thing I know about really good shampoo is that they aren't cheap.I also know that most if not all are sulfate free.So when I saw this expensive shampoo that claims to be "free of sulfates" I was eager to give it a try!Well I've used it a few times now and noticed a slight burning of my scalp. Hmmm.I decided to check out the ingredients and low and behold the very first ingredient is Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate!This is a cheap ingredient that is known for causing skin irritation and dried skin, along with possibly other concerns.This is not at all what I would expect to find in a high end(expensive) shampoo. I also can't find any of the other ingredients that this brand claims to contain? Hmmm.Sorry but I can not recommend buying this shampoo, especially if you have a sensitive scalp.
