Just what my lips needed. Sometimes I will get crack lips in the corners, which can be quite painful. I’ve tried many regular lip balm, but they’re not very good at healing. This product in the blue can has more healing power than the one they have in the tan can, which is not not as strong The blue can one contains camphor menthol and phenol. The combination heals the cracks in my side lips very quickly usually within two days I’m completely healed. Not really had anything else help at that level. Definitely lip saver whether you have cracks from sleeping and snoring or just out in the cold. The blue can is the lip medic. The brown can call DCT, which is daily care. Treatment is much milder, but doesn’t heal when you’re really hurting or having a bigger problem. I keep both the DTC can can is good for daily use if you need.

It feels like it’s doing a lot, but it never has a significant improvement on my dryness after it has absorbed. If I want this stuff to heal chapped lips rather than keep healthy lips hydrated, I have to reapply CONSTANTLY. Plain old petroleum jelly is more effective at healing my winter dry lips than this. However, I’m keeping and using it all and leaving it 4 stars because the soothing & cooling sensation isn’t bad at all, the tiny tubs are super convenient, and it’s a lot of product for the price.

I cannot think of a time when I did not have Lip Medex, from elementary school to adulthood. It is the one chapstick that does not make my upper lip break out, does not leave that dull and stretchy feeling like my lips are too tight, and leaves my lips feeling moist. I never thought it was all that strong until I kissed a now-ex, who said it was too tingly. Beats me what his issue was, but I refused to stop using it. I can wear cruelty-free lipstick and this, and that is about all.
