This dehumidifier works well so far. It is very easy to set-up and use. I have used it in both the garage and the basement and it has reduced the humidity to my desired levels very quickly. It is also very lightweight and quiet. It's small and really helps keep the air dry and fresh. Easy to empty, and no more damp smell. Recommended!

I purchased this due to the horrible humidity and how it is affecting how hot it feels. My AC unit is new and only a year old. It keeps the temp at 72-74 degrees but it feels like 85 of higher. I purchased another brand and larger unit for the whole house which is close to 2000 sq ft. That unit will handle 5000 sq ft and it’s doing great but we keep the door to master bedroom closed because of an issue with 2 cats that fight. We bought this smaller unit for bedroom since it’s isolated off. It’s very quiet and can handle 1000 sq ft. The unit comes in three colors I believe and the area where water tank is has a LED color changing bulb you can set to your preference or let it cycle. It has a night mode that’s quieter too. Simple setup. Plug it in and set based on manual settings. It has a tank full shut off function. Since we have the larger unit as well this unit has never filled up with water yet but we think the larger unit is getting about 95% of the moisture so this unit is picking up whatever additional moisture is in air as it cycles through AC to get to bedroom. We empty tank when it’s about a 1/4 full. This seems to be a good unit at a great price to accomplish a specific goal which it is doing. I recommend this unit but I can’t comment on any of their models that handle more than 1000 sq ft. However, for small job or area this is just fine. Not big, has decorative led lights and I love the way their appearance is because it’s not just a white, plastic machine humming in the corner of your room.

We have this unit to dehumidify the unfinished section of our basement. It's about 300sqft. This dehumidifier does a great job, and is extremely quiet. I don't think it would work with a space much larger than maybe 400sqft. This is a dehumidifier for a smaller space, so don't buy it thinking it will keep your huge basement dry. This is a for a room / small basement. Good price if it's on sale. The LED lights aren't obnoxious and can be turned off.
