Viking Oracle: Wisdom of the Ancient Norse

It's in perfect condition, and obviously a lovely deck; but I wanted to remark on the seller's expediency and good packaging in addition to the product itself. Great job.

Bought these at the recommendation of some friends. I love this deck. I've never used an Oracle deck before so it's been interesting. The only thing I find odd is that the rune cards. Not the runes themselves. Is that the author of the booklet seems to have assigned reversed meanings for runes that have no reversed meanings. I find that a little odd. Since I'm more familiar with the runes I simply do not use the reversed for those specific rune cards. Otherwise it really is an amazing deck.

This is a totally awesome deck if you like Vikings or Norse mythology even a little bit. The first 25 cards are based on Elder Furthark runes and the rest of the deck has cards based on Norse mythology and Vikings. Note, though, that the Fenrir card has a humanized version of him, which wasn't exactly how I imagined him, but it doesn't bother me.The only real downsides are that the deck came in a box much larger than it and a bag wasn't included, so you may have to buy one separately if you wish to carry the deck around with you, because the box is pretty big. The other thing is the cards are somewhat sticky so shuffling can be a little tricky, but I figure that this will be less of a problem as time goes on and the cards "break in" so to speak. However, these are pretty minor issues and do not ruin the 5-star rating for me; I am just pointing them out because I know these are things that would bother some people.Overall, this is a very interesting oracle deck that I definitely recommend. I haven't done a whole ton of readings yet, but the readings I have done have provided very accurate and relevant advice.UPDATE: After doing a few more readings with this deck, I really enjoy the overall feel of it. If you want an oracle deck that isn't super fluffy, then I definitely recommend this.

I love this deck! I have had it sitting in my cart for a few weeks and it wasn't untill I was pulled toward a separate set of runes that I decided I was meant to get them together. I'm so glad I did this.The package was 3 days later then it was supposed to be, but that didn't bother me considering it was due to the carrier and not the seller. Things happen and that's fine with me.As soon as I opened the box I could feel the energy coming from the cards. I was blown away by the art on each card and in the book. The book is a pretty good size and has both useful and intresting contents. The cards are laminated and have a bit of a shine to them. They are about 5 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide. I love the size and the feel of them. They shuffle nicely and have a good hold.Along with the book keeping you motivated to read, the art pulls you in and keeps you focused. This deck is a great choice!

I wish the rune cards had more to do with the rune meanings. It's beautiful art, and I do enjoy the deck as a whole, it just would have been cool to have more meaning representation.

I absolutely love the artwork and design of this deck. The card stock is a little thicker than most so that can be an issue but otherwise it's becoming one of my favorite sets

Sao grossas, firmes, foscas e de facil manuseio.Os desenhos nem sempre fazem alusão aos significados, mas são bem feitos e bonitos.O livreto está em inglês, mas é de fácil tradução. Traz o significado das runas, luz e sombra. Como tbm um mantra, que no mínimo te faz pensar em como usar melhor aquela energia, como conselho.

I didn't think I would, but I actually ended up really liking this deck. I'm a bit iffy when it comes to runes. I've done a lot of reading about them and I made my own rune stones. I wanted a deck because I'm a very visual person and like to work with cards and images. And I thought that I was mostly gonna use this deck as a training tool, completely dismissing the book. But I actually really like the cards. I'm not much into gods and goddesses but the energy of them in this deck is spot on. And the book is actually fantastic. Simple and well written. I truly recommend this deck to anyone who wants to work with north energy (or how many people interpret that energy these days) but I'd also urge you to get some additional information about the runes and always go with your intuition.The card stock is ok. It's quite thin and very glossy. What bothers me is that the box and book are a different size than the cards, which are pretty big actually. So the cards fly around in the box when ever I take the deck with me. But the deck in total is too thin to not have them in a solid box. If I were to transfer them into a cloth bag, they'd definitely get bend or worse. Don't know what I'm gonna do about that yet.

Eu achei o deck belíssimo, mas achei as mensagens das CARTAS das RUNAS muito pobre… Só das RUNAS, porque das outras cartas que vem depois das 24 RUNAS não tem como eu comparar a mensagens.
