Salomon Men’s Alphacross 5 Trail Running Shoes

First time buyer. The shoes have held up and are quite comfortable. Haven’t had them that long, but they do appear to have been made well and they look great. I am definitely going to be purchasing more of these in the future.

Comfortable! Bought them for work. One that needed a lot of walking. They are very durable. They are light on your feet. Black ones look great. They fit true to size and comfy.

My second pair of Salomon Men’s Alphacross 5 trail running shoes. They fit and feel amazing right out of the box. Very comfortable. Wore the 14 days straight while on a tour of Italy. For casual walking or running they are a great shoe.

These shoes are AWESOME! Totally exceeded my expectations. Super comfortable, true to size, and great to walk in. I don’t do any hiking, I bought them just for casual walking and I’m very happy with them. I can’t speak for the hikers, but for every day walking, they are perfect for me.

I typically take a size that would land between a 11.5 and 12, but I had to oder a 12.5 for any Solomon shoes. I liked the design of this shoe. Solomon doesn't create or offer any shoes that appear to have been designed by an 8 year old adolescent wishing to utilize the full kaleidoscope of colors for a "Men's" shoe.

This is my first purchase of Salomon shoes and so far, I'm impressed. I run and exercise usually six times per week. The build quality is great, the shoes are lightweight, and they are very comfortable. I usually work out in the morning and then go into the office, and these shoes somewhat pass for dress shoes if no one is looking to close. So far, I've enjoyed them.

Heel is not reinforced at all, its just very soft material over a hard inner plastic. Wore out in less than 3 months of standard use. I generally get 10-12mo out of the Speedcross 5. These are also not nearly as comfortable as the Speedcross 5, and nearly the same price. Will not buy again.
