Installation is simple. It’s just a stick on. They give you 2 spare foam stickers if you need to replace it. You get 3 alcohol swabs to clean the area and a cleaning cloth. I have an iPhone 16pro max, in the mount it sits about 2 inches below my view of the rear view mirror if it’s standing up. Turned sideways the phone only covers view of the hood. It’s well built and holds the phone great. My only worry is the stick on but so far zero issues. At first I had concern of it blocking my view while driving but honestly it’s not anymore than any other mount so nothing to be concerned of. I highly recommend this mount! Would buy again!

Overall I liked this purchase, but I was so used to my old vent-style holder that I had a grand idea to swap phone cradles, and it worked!Pros: I do like that the base hooks over the edge of the dash section instead of being a surface mount. but because of that, there is a limitation that you can't put it on the corner (ie over the vent) as the dash piece is wider. I do like that the adhesive is already attached to the base, but that it also comes with extra pieces if you need to move it. It does come with a cleaning wipe to prep the surface (yes you have to clean your dirty dash before you mount this if you want it to stay!), but I had alcohol wipes to prep my dash. The cleaning cloth is a bonus, but not really useful in the grand scheme of the phone holder unless you have to clean the face of your phone a lot.Cons: I didn't care for the cradle as the release button is behind the phone. My old phone holder had the button on the side and is intuitive to where your thumb goes when you grab at your phone. The included cradle has a retractable platform that made no sense since it would extend to full length when in use and retract when not in use (ie when you are not in your car to care). Thankfully the ball join was compatible so I was able to use my side-release cradle with the dash mount. I put the other cradle in the photo on the old vent mount, but I don't actually use it. I have it in the center console as a back up in case the adhesive fails while I'm driving.If you are cool with their cradle its a five star product. I personally did not like it so 4 stars from me, but I am keeping it because of the compatibility with my other phone cradle.

Phone mount is so high it partially obstructs your field of vision. I have an iPhone 14 Plus and it was almost touching the rear view mirror 😂. You can’t flip the arm to make the phone hang lower. Quality of the material used to make this mount is very nice and if you can get over your vision being obstructed (which I don’t recommend) then this is the mount for you.Recommendation for fix: make the base for the arm that attaches to the mounting plate about a half inch longer and change the angle for the neck of the adjustment ball. Or make it to where the telescoping bottom extends further than 1-1/2” to accommodate bigger phones.

I’ve had this holder a week and it will fit an iPhone 13 up to an iPhone 16 pro max with a case. I’ve not had any phone fall out of the holder when going over speed bumps / pot holes yet so they all hold snug. Adhesive hasn’t come loose in the wintertime, so hopefully it will hold up in the brutal sun of the summertime.Update: as spring has come down here in Georgia the little bit of heat that we got in February has loosened the adhesive and made the phone holder fall. As much as I didn’t want to, I resorted to drilling holes and screwing the phone holder into the trim piece it rests on. Still giving this a five star review because I have not seen an adhesive that will hold up to the Georgia heat on a black dashboard.

Originally the stand was very good and sturdy but over time it started loosing on its own. At the EOL it was very loose so I went to take it off and it broke into three pieces. Unfortunately no context information to possibly get the piece replaced so I have to give it a two star.Had since July 2024
