SP Bel-Art Emergency Eye Wash Safety Station Bottle Refill, 500ml (F24850-0000)

I just hope I dont have to use it! I am a bladesmith when not working on data integrity and verification. Because my day job offers not much more that a good pay check begin able to create knives with my own two hands is my life reward. You need to take care of your eyes in the business. There is a lot of dust and junk flying around the grinders and hand sanding operations in a knife shop. Regardless of how good your safety glasses, shield, mask, etc are you are going to get something in your eye. Having this simple eye wash bottle on hand is a God send! As the description says, this is an empty bottle. The local Rx guy was able to load me up with several bottles of general purpose eye wash solution. The size of this bottle is perfect for one time use. Then you can clean and refill to have on hand for the next time.

The bottle is well constructed. It has thick walls, a good cap,and good spray action.I figured out that long handle (to the right in thephoto) on the cap. It's so you can pull thecap off quickly and reliably with degraded vision. This thoughtfuldesign feature is inline with the overall quality of the bottle.

I use this to wash allergens and dust from my eyes. This can be held either down or up, ie you can look down into the bottle or raise the bottle over your head and look up into it. there's a little valve that opens to allow either orientation.

Not clear if it has a one way valve so contaminated wash doesn't go back in.

Exactly what I was looking for. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I haven't used it yet in and I can't say how easy to use it is when your in a rush to get whatever it is out of your eye.

Very good to have in the car or in motorcycle tank bag. Great to rinse out an eye if you get something in it. Use it as an extra water bottle. If you really serious, you can get the special saline solution for eye washes.

great for people you get a lot of stuff in their eyes.

I'm sure this is a fine eyewash bottle, but the description led me to believe that there was solution in the bottle. I should have paid more attention to the shipping weight, but when I'm not paying shipping I normally don't look at that.
