Product as described, great vendor response
To be clear from the start, the battery is performing as documented and the help I received from BATURU was prompt, courteous and resolved my question. The following details are to help others understand that every laptop and battery has idiosyncrasies. Immediately after receiving the battery I received an email from BATURU telling me how to use the battery (I know the technology is widely available, but I like the way BATURU used it to help their customers). The first step was to discharge the battery to 3% before charging it. When I plugged it into my laptop, the laptop wouldn’t start. So I asked BATURU if I should charge it (I thought my laptop battery interface may be damaged). They told me to charge it. When I plugged it in to charge, the battery/charging light flashed white (on my laptop it is solid orange while charging and solid white when charged). I left it connected overnight and it was still flashing white in the morning. When I tried to log in, Windows put the PC to sleep (apparently the battery voltage was too low). However, the battery/charging light was now solid orange. Afternoon the battery/charging light was solid white. I logged in and it was apparent that Windows had stopped because of the low battery. I disconnected the power, the battery continued to register 100% and the laptop was working fine!

The battery arrived and looked brand new and has worked perfectly. I compared my existing battery specs with the very detailed pictures in their description and nervously purchased it because of poor luck with computer batteries. I have now fully charged and drained the Baturu numerous times (I'm guessing about 15 times so far) without any reduction in battery life. My laptop was feeling a bit old with my old battery and having to be constantly plugged into the wall, but now it feels like I have a newer laptop with the nice battery life.

first off, the battery came when it was promised ...
first off , the battery came when it was promised. I haven't had a chance to run many cycles on it but is seems to last well.With the one yr warranty, even if it don't last I should be ok.I believe in it enough that I am ordering another battery for anotherlaptop today.

Just what we needed, perfect solution
We have a very old laptop and were warned that ordering a new battery is risky because they often don't fit or don't work. This battery fit our computer perfectly and worked immediately. It was 50% charged but I followed the instructions, for discharging and charging, since that's what they recommend. I'm hoping for a long life, iffy for an old computer in spite of a new battery. I expect the computer will die before this battery.As long as you're careful to order a battery with the same HP replacement number (check the label on the old battery), I think you'll be pleased with the quality of this battery.

HP laptop battery replacement
Purchased this battery as replacement for one that wasn't holding a charge for more than 40 minutes after a full charge indication. Baturu battery arrived in reasonable length of time with a minimum charge. Charged it until full charge indicated. Have charged it 4 times since after getting good duration of use of laptop. Very pleased so far with its performance. 30 day money back & 12 month warranty is a definite plus & shows confidence in the product by the seller.I would order from this seller again.

Replacement Battery for HP Notebook
Was surprised to find a replacement battery for my computer so fast and cheap. Was considering getting a new computer because of cost of battery replacement.Seems to work fine and was shipped fast.

great battery
This battery is a perfect replacement for our HP Pavilion DV7 4100 laptop. We followed the instructional email we received to discharge the battery to 3% initially before giving it a full charge, and it is doing great.

battery fit
this battery fit our HP lap top. We have just started using it so i can't comment about battery life or durability. We appreciated that the seller sent instructions on how to service our battery to help with its performance. We will follow the instructions.
