Small mullet are good bait and I catch them in my cast net, but larger mullet are good eating. They don't bite very often (they are filter feeders, but will eat bread balls every now and then) so I generally snag them when they are around. I used to tie weights to the bottom of my treble hooks for this, but these have the lead cast onto the actual treble hook and that really helps.They look just like in the pic, so I didn't take any others, but are well made and have good sharp points. The weight is good for casting out as well so you can reach schools from shore. They are also useful for snagging sheepshead when the occasion arises.Good design and size, sharp strong hooks.
