After reading the novel online maybe some 3-4 times now, I decided to get the actual book in order to not have to deal with finding good translations. I love this story so much but I can't give 5 stars if a whole chunk of pages are missing. Pages 149-196 of the third volume are gone!!! I'm so sad because this got rid of the latter half of the Land of the Tender saga 😭😭. I don't want to replace the entire product because I really don't want to wait to continue reading but if I have to supplement parts of the book with the web version anyway then doesn't this just defeat the point of buying....

I LOVE these books so much and I wish I could write like this. Xie Lian has had a tumultuous 800 years filled with tragedies and violence and so many unhappy moments...and yet Hua Cheng has pined for him as his most devoted believer. These books brought out so many emotions in me and I loved the mix of myth and romance. One of my all-time top series.

Got these books so I could read them in person instead of online, since the online version has horrible translation.
