I often use desiccated organ capsules as supplements because I know meat organs are nutrient rich and I love the idea of a whole food supplement. It’s difficult to me to actually consume organs, if you can find them. I appreciate being able to take them in a capsule. The dosage compares to other brands, but through experience, I found a smaller dose works better for me. Unlike other brands, the animals are raised in the USA instead of places like New Zealand or South America. I’m not too concerned about trusting the “grass fed” label. It’s most likely accurate. If you have enough land, letting animals graze pasture is quite a bit more economical than other feed and actually makes better business sense. I love that this brand is Native American owned. I’ve noticed in recent years the tribes in my area have begun to raise bison on their land as well. I think this is a great product.

When I first showed these to my husband, he was a little freaked out -- why would you want to take organ pills? Then I reminded him that his doctor highly recommended he eat more organ meat (specifically liver) for one of his health conditions, and that he outright had refused to eat liver because he hates the taste! What better way to follow doctor's orders without the "yuck!" than to take it as a freeze-dried powder in a capsule (or rather 6 capsules)? He was convinced and has been taking them daily. No side effects, he takes 2 with each meal, and we are looking forward to better lab results at his next doctors visit.Love that these are NonGMO, made in the USA, grass-fed, and a great way to help use every part of the animal. Very happy with this company and this product.

Many of the pills (6 so far) I have found to be open in the container. I am not someone who spends $50 willingly, this was a big purchase for me. To have a whole serving gone before I have even taken any is disheartening. Hopefully I do not find more open as I was very excited to try this brand for the first time.

Some beef organ supplements can cause annoying side effects but LGS does not. This gives you an all around feeling of well being. Directly eating organ meats is the best way to go but in the real world, unless you own a farm, that's not an easy thing to do so organ supplements are the next best thing. This is great for those that an enemic and/or have frequent blood loss. Organ meat is also very good for rebuilding teeth and bones.No aftertaste.Highly recommended

The only reason I'm giving the LGS bison organ supplement 3 stars is because it uses American bison and proceeds go back to revitalizing the bison and American grasslands. This supplement is easy to swallow, but I burp it back up, and let's just say that is incredibly unpleasant. All the little bits that were in the pill come right back up and they do not taste good. At all.This supplement also does not state the company that third party tests it. Informed Choice and NSF are great companies and ones that wind up on product labels when companies use them to test their products. Anything else is skeptical.Another reviewer mentioned they give these to their dog. That's probably how I'm going to finish this bottle off, because I can't handle it.

This is a great product, that hits all the points a good supplement should hit. This includes no other added ingredients besides the active ingredient, a bovine gelatin capsule, GMP production, and third-party testing. Unlike other organ, supplements, this one includes heart. That is not something you see often. This company utilizes the parts of the animal that are most often just tossed away.The capsules are of average size and easy to swallow. The suggested daily intake is six. I only take three, but I do feel that it gives me more energy. I have had no issues with stomach upset or the ingredients repeating on me. The company has a very good website and an easy way to contact customer support.

I had tried liver capsules before this, and was looking to add the nutrition of other organ meats to my diet -- conveniently. When I opened those capsules to taste the powder, the liver flavor was overpowering (you are warned). When I did the same thing with these, the liver flavor was very faint, and other flavors were very mild. I honestly don't know what to expect from the other flavors, but I expected them to be likewise strong. Without some objective measure of nutrition in the capsules (lab testing?) I don't have much else to go on.The fact that this is grass fed is a big plus. Grass fed changes the nutritional profile, especially the fats, to something much more beneficial. I am a bit disappointed that it's not also organic (nor not hormone-treated). They do indicate GMO-free, but GMO isn't the problem with crop itself, its with the pesticides, herbicides, etc that the plant is engineered to tolerate. I'm curious why they don't list organic (esp certified). It's not just to avoid harmful chemicals, but I want to have meats from the healthiest animal possible.Overall I think this is a good product from a good company. The issue of it not being organic is kind of an unknown, it might not objectively detract from the quality.

I haven't had a huge energy surge but expect that I will perk up as time goes by and I continue use. If any troubles occur I will update this review.
