Kit came with a dead motor had to order a new one.

Instructions can be a little vauge at times but with some time are easily figured out. Trailer and truck are sturdy except for the u joint connecting from the drive shaft to the rear end likes to separate and the trailer isn't stiff enough to haul any other models likes to flex and touch the ground

I have always enjoyed building block kits like this. However, I don't enjoy throwing away tons of money for brand name. This kit is great value for the money. However there are some considerations to be wary of. The instructions are PDF downloads, not booklet which is fine for me but others may not like. The attention to detail is not what one of the brand-name kits would be. For example, my biggest issue with the kit was, I literally had to use a hammer several times to get axles to slide through pieces where they were supposed to go. Also, I was missing one piece on the trailer. It's not really noticeable, but a bit irritating. The instructions are ok, but not great, it is not always completely clear where certain parts go, but I didn't have too much trouble figuring it out. Finally, if you want to actually play with it, the finished product is surprisingly fragile. Driving the truck across a wooden floor completely disintegrated the drive train within a few seconds, and the trailer hitch connection was not too well thought out. Similarly, the one un-powered winch on the truck is manually driven by a worm gear, which means you're going to spend a lot of time turning a very small crank to wind/unwind the hook. Despite my nitpicking though, I feel that overall this is a good kit for a reasonable price.P.S. The final dimensions of truck and trailer come out to nearly 5 ft long.

For those looking for instructions, when you opened the box there should have been a QR code on the inside of the box. You scan the code for the instuction pdf. Just about all moc kits like this one are pdf instructions. Lesdiy provides pdf's for all of their kits.

Nice product, would like to have printed manual. Also there was some fit up issues with front drive shaft. Overall good build.
