Decent coupler make sure shaft has flat edge
It is a clever idea for attaching a flat flange-like appendage to a motor shaft. I used with a N20 motor that has a shaft with flat surface for set screw. The diameter of this coupling is slightly larger 3.20 mm but there is very little play once the set screws are tightened. I have paired it with an N20 DC geared motor for an invention of mine that is a rotary mop. The motor shaft has two flat surfaces on opposing sides. The motor is torquey and this coupling does a decent job holding on to the shaft without slipping. It will not work if the shaft is round and does not have at least one flat surface for setting. I wish this design was available for larger dia shafts too for other inventions of mine!

Quite big screws actually.
This item has fixed properly with the 555 motor mounting and the screws are quite big.
