I've been looking for something like this for a number of years now. I have an unusual lamp shade. I think it was made in India or Pakistan a number of years ago. It looks a lot like the one in the advertising picture but with a Pasiley pattern shade Apparently, it's not the same size. So the adapters did not fit my lamp shade. The C-rings were too large and the other reducing rings were also too large on the outside and too small in the center... What I was able to do though was place the c-ring over the bulb socket and so now the lamp shade rests on top of that without falling through. This is what I had originally envisioned would work a washer or c ring placed over the bulb socket and the shade resting on top and it seems to work that way.

It didn’t work for my purposes. I was trying to change out my glass bulbs on my fixture but the bulb opening was too big. I ended up hot gluing the tulip bulbs on, and then decided on a whole new fixture because I didn’t like it. These little plastic things fit too low in the bulb so the screw part could reach up.

I did not use this for the intended purpose, I have 3 lights that hang over the kitchen bar area, the glass was disgusting, I found new ones at Lowes by chance however when I tried to hang them the hole on top was to big for the inside screw on, these spacers where the perfect size after cutting off the 3 ears on them. For me they were modified and worked perfect.

Bought a lamp base plus a separate shade. The shade did not fit the base. The adaptor rings worked perfectly and resolved the problem. Simple solution at a good price.

Kind of misleading as it states they will fit over a desk lamp and they are too small, useless for what I need but sure for a smaller lamp they will be ok.

What I Like - Good quality and flexibility in order to fit in the lamp shade. Works well. What I Don’t Like - Nothing.
