Update aug 19th : Lcd screen went blank within a yr
Update aug 19th :Customer service took a little time to send a replacement, but I recvd this week. Before I opened the new replacement, I disconnected the current " defective " unit and took it out to the garage and rewired to a good spare battery. Well, the unit came back to life, LCD and all.My thoughts as to why, unsure. But around the time this happened, we had a lightning strike very very close to the house. Strong enough to trip 2 gfci in the house, but never lost main line power. So thats a possibilty.Contacting customer service to return unopened replacement.Glad things worked out...____________________________________I ordered this item from amazon Dec 2023.Didnt install until a few months later.Today the LCD display screen went blank !The manual control button for external load is functional, but I have no way of accessing menu to see whats going on with settings , charging, etc...The warranty is supposed to be 2 yrsI have emailed the company , but as of yet, recvd no response.

Melted, smoke at 18amps
Worked great at 8amps, 12g copper connections. Sun finally came out, 18amps in, and it melted and almost caught fire. How can this thing take 50 amps??Bought another brand, same style/software, 100 Amp to be safe..same price. Doesn't even heat up.This thing is made for a few small solar panels, nothing more, unless I got a bad unit.Amazon can't take it back; said contact seller. Seller hasn't even responded about a menu question after 2 weeks...so good luck getting a replacement from powering.Of course terminals are tiny and crap, as noted by many others. On the plus side, if there is one with a product that can burn down your house, the menu is easy and does every parameter control, ONCE YOU FIGURE IT OUT. The manual incorrectly explains how to change settings. There are 10+ other brands selling similar product. Try them first or stock up on fire extinguishers.- 30 year owner of electronic company

MPPT solar charge controller.
This is a controller that connects the solar panel to the battery and the load. It works great and has two usb ports on it.I purchased this one because I needed a 30A type 12V controller for my Radio Go Box. I use it with a 100 Watt solar panel and a 100A 12.8V battery. It works and I have had no issues with it. Would buy again, it is worth the price.

One star product, five star customer service!
Update 24 April 2024:Upgraded my rating to five stars for customer service. This device failed, so that gets one star, but the seller now... they deserve five stars! This seller reached out to me totally on their own to offer a full refund! This device was well past its refund date, and I did not request it. The seller offered this totally on their own! I am very grateful for that... it's not an expensive part, so the money wasn't important... it's the integrity that means so much. Thank you!Update 14 April 2024:Reduced my review rating to one star. The problems I thought I had fixed are NOT FIXABLE. I bought this unit for a 600 watt/34amp/hr system. No sooner did the sun come fully out than this unit FAILED. It failed to regulate the voltage, instead throughputting the full unregulated output from the panels. While it indicated the charge was stopped, and showed a system voltage of 14.2 volts, other monitors showed 18-19 volts. I lost some 12 volt systems to over-volt damage... fortunately none of my inverters were running.GARBAGE. DO NOT BUY IT!

Works well
Too small attachment for large wires. Had to buy a second one as mine turned up missing on delivery

Once you figure out the settings....
The "manual" sent with the device is a bit cryptic. Having used other solar controllers in the past, I was comfortable setting it up. I bought these to manage a LiFePO4 system because of their ability to fine-tune the options for your specific battery. I found this product a good value.

It's working great
With a 24 V and 12 systems it's worked very well. Easy to use, quickly configuration and it give all functionality advertised. Actually its working with an 3 x 315 modules array and 2 x 150 Ah batteries. In the next days I will try to use at full capabilities. I'm very happy!
