Work well. Been using a couple of them for six months now. Handy optional night light to see yourself around in the hall and the emergency light that cuts in when there is a power cut.

A bit bulky so sticks out a way from the socket; rather lightweight so may not prove to be too robust

The torch does not work but the base lights up low. Amazon have reduced their service levels across the board so I cannot return it. Won't be buying the replacement on here!

Good torch light but poor night light far to dim

Ordered two and one didnt work. Replacement on its way. Look/feel cheap and doubt either last more than a few months. Not an item I would recommend.

This product has three functions: - An emergency light, which (If left plugged into a wall socket) comes on when the mains power fails. - A torch, with several power settings and a (rechargeable) battery life of several hours. - A night light, which can be set to ON,OFF, or AUTO (on when the light level falls below a certain point). The night light coming on at a low light level is in my opinion a much superior design strategy to the use of a proximity sensor, which tends to mean the light going on and off a lot as people walk by. My only small reservation is that it would have been be nice to have had the option of more than one level of brightness in the night light. Overall, highly recommended.

Exactly what I was looking for with the added option of turning off the night light if required

This torch is perfect we have it plugged in downstairs in the kitchen and it illuminates the kitchen perfectly so you can walk around without the need to put a light on, as soon as you pick the torch up it turns itself on automatically if you press it once it goes off the press it again and it flashes on and off absolutely brilliant. Would definitely buy it again.
