I recently ordered this Camera Ceiling Mount to complement my indoor IP camera setup. Crafted from robust aluminium alloy, this mount ensures durability and stability for both indoor and outdoor installations. It’s made of solid metal which is impressively sturdy. Good well thought out design, the only setback is that it still has movement in it when everything is tightened up. We should perhaps of bought something more heavy duty for the job. Nice finish and suits a variety of camera bases

This is a very well designed bracket. It comes in two parts, the base which can be screwed in at four positions, and the arm which goes into the base. The arm has a pivot that can be fixed, so you should be able to get the exact position you need. Quite heavy but sturdy and will take the weight of the largest camera. Only movement is the length of the arm, but it seems fairly steady with my metal IP PTZ camera that's quite a beast.

Solid unit; all aluminum construction. The hardware on the assembly all appears to be non-magnetic stainless steel. There are a couple of screws in a bag maybe for mounting a camera that are magnetic but I'm not exactly sure what they are for. OMG !!! Nowhere in the description does it indicate that the length is adjustable. In hindsight, you can kind of see this in a couple of the product photos and it's very clear in one of the photos, but they left this out of the description. They say the length is 11.8 inches which is about what I need BUT it's NOT. The shortest length is 16 inches. And its adjustable up to almost 25 inches. This is great if you need / want this BUT it's actually TOO long for my needs. The lower post is threaded on both ends so I can't just cut it to length. Other than the inaccurate length it's a very nice unit. I'm really struggling with the rating. The unit is well built but the description is wrong. I don't think I can use this without somehow cutting out 6 inches of the main post then splicing the ends back together or cutting 6 inches off the end and rethreading it (I don't have the tooling) then also cutting 6 inches off the center post. The main post is 11.8 inches long NOT the overall length. I'm going to be extremely generous and go with 3 stars. The unit itself is 4 - 5 stars, the inaccurate measurements in the description are 1 star. If you want a 16 - 25 inch camera post ... go for it. If you need something shorter ... this is not going to work.
