Israel 75th Anniversary Fountain Pen - Limited Edition 1948 Diamond Jubilee, Broad Nib - Luxury Judaica Gift

I have been collecting fountain pens for over 30 years and have a collection of over 200. I bought this pen to add to my Israel anniversary pen collection. It is nicely done and very reasonably priced for a limited series pen. I have not inked it yet so I cannot comment on how it writes. Conklin has some really nice pens for a reasonable price and the workmanship is excellent. I would recommend this collector's pen for your collection.

This pen is a beautiful work of art. Truely impeccable design and quality craftsmanship. I believe this pen is also a sound investment that will only go up in value.About the nib, the medium size is very bold.

Beautiful artwork on this Israel Anniversary pen. The usual very bright and highly polished lacquer. The only problem is this is the third Conklin pen that I have in which the nib is absolutely flimsy and cheap and looks and acts like it was made from two sheets of aluminum foil, stuck together and cut. I ordered a broad nib with this pen, and trust me I’ve got a lot of fountain pens, but if you lean into a Conklin nib, it’s split and unusable. Even with high-quality paper it’s gonna scratch up a wad of fiber at the end. I’m certainly not going to trash this pen, but I’ll do my usual, and find an aftermarket nib that actually holds up to even the lightest bit of work.
