I use this to share a monitor with my laptop for work and desktop for personal use. Sometimes, it works great. However, it is problem if I need re-start either machine and causes warning lights to flash on the computers. I have to power down everything, disconnect cables, and re-start computers without the KVM switch, and then connect it while the computers are running. It is a real pain. So, when it works, it is great. But it is very buggy. Also, I notice that using it to share USB speakers reduces audio quality a bit. Finally, I wish the power input was on the back to make thing cleaner. I might be best if this required separate power instead of using the USB port to power up -- maybe that would prevent the conflicts. You get what you pay for, I suppose.

I bought this about a month ago and have been switching between my two laptops mac and windows work and personal, very conveniently. I also use my Mac keyboard and Logitec mouse connected to this kvm switch and it works very well. Recently I also connected my audio interface so I can use my mic with both computers as I switch. So far very happy with the product.

This KVM switch works, but I found it very disconcerting that it takes 3 seconds to switch from my desktop to my laptop, but 38 seconds to switch from my laptop to my desktop PC. Also, while the HDMI cables attach at the rear of the box, the power cable and the USB cables to the keyboard and mouse attach at the front. Since the box must be kept in view in order to push the button to switch devices, this means that it takes up more room on my workspace and looks "clunky". If there were a way to switch devices without actually pushing the button on the front of the box, the location of the interface connections would not matter so much.

Owned for about six months. Unit has been super reliable on a fairly demanding setup - no issues. Two computers connected to a 34 inch monitor running 2560x1080 at 60 Hx. One computer is a laptop with a displayPort with an HDMI adapter cable. The other computer uses a high performance graphics card.

Worked well for 6 months. Today it no longer handles video signal for one of my machines. Bypassing the KVM switch fixes my problem. Was pretty worried initially because I thought the laptop was having video problems and I wasn't going to be able to see the patients on my schedule.

This little device makes my life so much easier. Working remotely and seriously over committed in my volunteer organizations so switching all the USB devices (mouse/keyboard, speaker, mic, webcam) and monitor back and forth between home computer and work laptop was so annoying. Now I just have to push a button and magic happens - it switches all the devices back and forth in a snap.

I have had zero issues with it switching between machines, and providing the frame rates I need for gaming (60Hz is perfect for what I play and the monitor I use); however, whenever I open Spotify, or Amazon music, either in-app or in-browser, my monitor connected to this device goes black and disconnects. The only way to get it back is to kill the app or browser entirely and switch from the primary PC to the second one and back or disconnect and reconnect the monitor. Doing this loses all of my monitor settings, which is very odd. This issue does not appear when I remove the KVM switch from my signal path.

Works good, but switching is slow. Biggest minus is that don't have usual jack audio plug, I can't use my speakers, must have USB speaker in order to it.

Je l'utilise pour switch entre mon portable de travail et ma tour fixe personnel quand je suis en télétravail (très souvent).Il fait bien sont job, ça fait plus de 6mois que je l'utilise et seulement un des ports usb est ko mais il y en a 4 , et je l'ai peut être un peut mal traiter ...Je l'ai vissé sous mon bureau, le bouton qui sert a switch à l'avant est super pratique !J'ai un écran ultra wide branché dessus, pas de problème avec la résolution qui n'est pourtant pas habituelle, 60fps ok, je n'a pas testé d'autre taux de rafraichissement.Le passage d'un pc à l'autre est instantané, il faut laisser une ou deux seconde a l'ordit pour redétecter l'écran et recaler l'affichage ~Voilà, personnellement très satisfait, c'est pile ce qu'il me fallait :)(Edit: après 1 an et demi d'utilisation quotidienne, tout fonctionne parfaitement)

Unlike another, cheaper KM switch (without video) where I experienced frequent connection drops, the cables connected to this KVM switch fit very precisely. No random drops, neither doe USB nor HDMI. I am able to run my screen at 4k and 60Hz. Switching between my Windows 10 and Kubuntu 20.04 desktop computers takes about 5 seconds from pressing the button to seeing the display of the new target PC. Much quicker than fumbling with the monitor input control. The whole device feels very well engineered. Only slight downside is they the LED lights on the device are somewhat hard to see. I may attach some half dome transparent plastic feet like someone else suggested in order to diffract the LED light emission and thus improve visibility. Highly recommended.

Edit 09.05.2023: Die Aussetzer gibt es nicht, seit ich die Bildwiederholfrequenz des einen PCs von 144Hz auf 2560x1440@60Hz heruntergesetzt habe. Leider kann der Umschalter das nicht. Soweit funktioniert das jetzt aber, wie es von dem Produkt zu erwarten ist. Daher korrigiere ich meine Bewertung von einem Stern auf 4 Sterne.__Habe den Switch zum einen an meinem PC und an einer Laptop Dockingstation (und 3 verschiedene Laptops, die daran verwendet werden) angeschlossen, damit ich nur eine Tastatur, eine Maus und ein Headset benötige.Hat zunächst ordentlich funktioniert, dann gab es zunehmend Aussetzer, sogar während ich diese Rezension schreibe. Dann sind die angeschlossenen Geräte für 5-10s nicht erreichbar. Ändert sich auch nicht, wenn die 5V angeschlossen werden.Nicht zu empfehlen. Es scheint einen ganzen Haufen baugleicher Geräte mit anderen Markennamen zu geben. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass das andere Komponenten verbaut sind.

J'étais un peu sceptique vu le prix, mais je dois bien avouer que cela fonctionne bien. Testé avec 2 portables vers un seul écran tout HDMI, avec un clavier et une souris en USB: Je passe facilement d'un portable à l'autre, le clavier et la souris fonctionne sur les 2 portables. Même si je n'en ai personnellement pas besoin, c'est un modèle sans télécommande. Il est placé devant moi donc le petit switch manuel (bouton) est suffisant. Boitier métallique et qui n'a pas l'air de chauffer. Pas de logiciel à installer, donc c'est du plug and play!

Hab den KVM switch jetzt ca 2 Wo und muss sagen, dass ich sehr zufrieden bin. Er schaltet zwischen den beiden Laptops hin und her, die wahlweise ich mit einem großen Bildschirm verbinden möchte. Der Switsch hat auch 4 USB Ports, an denen die Tastatur und Maus hängen, so dass diese auch gleich mit umgeschaltete werden. Auch Drucker und Scanner hängen da dran und werden ebenfalls immer an den gerade aktiven Laptop durchgereicht. Kleiner Nachteil, aber in der Preisklasse wohl normal: Die geöffneten Fenster werden beim Hinundherschalten immer auf den gerade abgehängten Laptopschirm gezogen, da der große Bildschirm "abgeklemmt" wird. Damit geht die Fensterkonfiguration beim Umschalten stets verloren, stört mich aber nicht besonders.
